Cafc it could have been the little one my DD when i was carrying her had a lovely habit of hooking her foot under my rib cage the pain was undescribable and it took my breath away, she would do it so quickly as well i would be fine one minute then doubled over the next and i could never find the little foot to move it. Ex hubby went white as a ghost the first time it happened he thought i was having the baby there and then lol :-)

lol i think it is mainly used to ease pressure on your back as it opens our pelvis and the balancing can help take the pressure off you, i used it during my last pregnancy for back pain, think towards the latter stages it is for optimul positioning and pain relief with moving baby forward and down

Thanks Tink! I will try it when I get further on I think! So far I have just been bouncing it like a basketball!

    Thanks also Xmas :D

Think I might need a key to work out who is who on facebook, I knew yesterday but today I am confused! Lovely to feel so popular with all these lovely new friends :)

    No baby news yet???:(

I used my inhaler loads last night... maybe it was in sympathy for you CAFC. Hope you start feeling a bit better soon:)

The rest of my debenhams order came this morning... my hospital bag. It's lovely... a pink Tripp one:D

And I defrosted freezer last night... i'm sure baby will appreciate having a defrosted freezer and it won't matter that he hasn't got any room for a cot or anything!!:rotfl:

    Hey-o!

Don't worry, I'm here as an alumnus, not as a new member :rotfl:.

Anyhoo, just wanted to make a recommendation to any larger-chested ladies out there who are looking at nursings bras. I initially bought the usual soft cup/wire-free nursing bras that "they" recommend. However as you well know, the support just isn't there and IMO soft-cup bras just don't cut it, nursing mama or not! I've recently discovered the Anita Underwired Nursing Bra, which is BRILL. Goes up to size H, which is larger than most other so-called "large size" underwired nursing bras (I've only found up to G) - I'm actually slightly larger than an H but the cups are stretchy so it still fits fine. Highly recommended - very comfy and is sooooo much better for keeping the girls in place than my crappy soft-cup nursing bra from Bravissimo!

Here's a linkee to the cheapest place to buy them on the internet: http://www.nursingbra-shop.co.uk/ShowDetails.asp?id=102 (comes in white or black). A few other online stores have the Anita, but this is the cheapest and has free delivery. :T Mine arrived in 2-3 days. :D

(no I don't work for them...I was just chuffed to find an underwired nursing bra so I wanted to pass on the info! ;))

Just wondered, does anyone think a gym ball might help with my SPD? Just seen one on Argo website for £5, might be worth a go?

Bufger and Xmaslolly - I've FRed you both. My initials are ECC

Hi Courgette, Go with the 6 pound one instead of the 5 pound as its a bit too small and flimsy for pregnant women- it squashes too much and is too low to the floor making it uncomfortable to get up from! :)

Ooohhh.. excited for all the mummies that are due- I think were due another flourish of lots of newborns over the next week or so! :D

Had blinking cramp in my leg all day and been waddling around like a pirate. But happy days, Im having a nap when I get in after hubby told me I have to as he's glossing the skirting on the stairs. :) I love my hubby loads at the mo! :):) I think its the hormones.... :o:D:rotfl:

Has anyone had to have Heparin injections during their pregnancy? Been to see the consultant today and he says I'll have to have them from 3rd trimester. He was trying to reassure me that it's a tiny needle and I won't feel a thing, but I'm sooooo not looking forward to having to having to jab myself every day :( Has anyone had these and can tell me it's really not as bad as I think it's going to be?!

Moneysaver ive added you and suggested the rest of the waddling crew. Make sure you put MSE in your message so they know who you are when they add you.

MichelleM - Waddling pirate! hahahaha. You do realise i'll hold on to that one and will reply to everything you say with 'ayy lass'. I do think loving the hubby is hormones, everyone knows that should stop after marriage :D
