Well- today I am off to London for the Opticians Awards. I will be getting my £100 out at a cah machine for the hotel and drinks (the hotel will be nearer to £60 than £70, so slightly more pennies for spending) I also have £25 in my purse from my weekly spend budget so all being well I shouldn't run out of money! :p

    Menu for tonight is:
    Menu:

    Trio of Salmon and Prawns

Fillet of Beef with Red Onion Marmalade topped with Brie served with Red Wine Jus Dauphinoise Potatoes and Fresh Market Vegetables

Chocolate Marquise served with a Cherry Cup

    Coffee and Chocolates

    Hmmm, yum yum

But guess how much the hotel is charging per head for this meal+ drinks reception... guess...

    £180

I don't think it sounds that nice. :o I'm glad I'm not paying it.. one of the lens companies is paying. And for that money you'ld kind of expect wine with the meal but they are very clear that it does not include wine! (they're italics, not mine :rotfl:)

I'm also taking a half bottle of vodka in my suitcase...why? Check out the drinks price list :eek::eek:
On that kinda price I don't think I'll actually be drinking much :p Still, good news for the diet :D

Made it back from London with £10.65 in my purse :p So 65p gone into my sealed pot and considering using that £10 to make an overpayment to CC, as new £40 weekly spends starts again tomorrow. :)

Have just ordered this dress from Very for my night out and these shoes in black.
Total spent £70. Used a code to get free delivery (saved £3.95) and went through topcashback for 8% cashback giving me (theoretically) £5.60 back. I will then return the shoes I got last wednesday to Next (£36 back in my account) So if all goes to plan this will give me a new outfit for £64.40 :jwith money left over to perhaps get a new handbag. :D I'll just have to see if the dress fits/looks any good :p

Just applied for Santander CC. 0% for 15 months. Hoping to transfer all off HSBC and at least some of Virgin CC, although I may well keep the HSBC card open but empty until 0% deal ends on Virgin in case Virgin interest rate rockets stupidly high and the 16% on HSBC is better... of course it would also be worth ringing them and seeing if there was a BT deal they could offer... anyhoo, I'll see how it goes.

Somebody save me from stupid impulse purchases. Right night I've got a burning need to own a Shake Weight. You can get one from Amazon for less than £20 including delivery but still....
.... but all I can think is how good it would be for toning my arms for the ol' wedding frock...
...stop it stop it stop it.
