Yes. We withheld payment as we wanted them to come back and fix some of the windows which we not installed correctly. They didn t come back and didn t respond to any correspondence.

Which in law has little standing

I would fully expect they did do it but what are you going to do? They are legally entitled to hold onto the property in lieu of your final payment.
  • hi, hows your complaint going with everseal, i had windows from them they made a right mess alot of the windows didnt fit right they had to come back and change one window compleatly as they messured to big for opening and tried to hammer it in hense it bent, and had to order a smaller one now 4 months later they are trying to bill me for extras that i didnt have.... as for taking out windows dont know if it was yours but one of there fitters told me that his boss went and took windows from someones house as they owed money

    Hi,

Can we draw a line under this please? I'll quote a reminder of the Forum Guide below...
Please be nice to all MoneySavers. That’s the forum motto. Remember the prime aim is to help provide info and resources. If you don’t like someone, their situation, their question or feel they’re intruding on ‘your board’ then please bite the bullet and think of the bigger issue... a Guardian article recently “doffed its cap” to this forum as being the one place where consumers can collect together and fight back, our job is to help keep it that way.
