Ali that would make you my mum - me and lifey is sisters now!!!
Do i get to go to dinner on firday as well?
I don't think I've ever heard of any one with an overdraft that big, but I'm sure it will diminish very rapidly, I bet she can't wait to move, what a quick turnaround for her!0 -
Friday even, firday is an old norwegian custom obviously, honouring pine trees, so I will be busy that day, but friday is fine!0

Oh my goodness, solicitor has my money. That's it. All done!
Feel numb now.
Thanks for all the messages from my ever-increasing family here. What a lovely feel-good thread this is turning into!OVERDRAFT TODAY:£36,100

Wonder where I could get a £100k interest free overdraft?
It sounds like you will have this clear pretty quick, but do keep us updated0 -
Yes, this is a damn fine feel good thread, but I'm getting confused with all these family members, and can't help feeling that my tab for dinner on Friday is going to be scaryDoing my best as a contrarian investor...property, banking...let's see how it goes0

Can you clear up one thing Lifey....Ages ago you posted that you had 44% of the money, but your sig now says 41%. Did you use some of the overdraft instead or did the money go elsewhere?

I felt that way when we handed several thousands over to the solicitor to buy another property, I felt like doing one of those comedy moments where they won't let go of the cheque!
The banks cheque department phoned me to say did I realise I'd written a cheque this large - realise I'd been rapidly losing weight ever since!
Once its all done and duted you'll feel great - keep us in the frame!!0 -

Yes sure - I included my ISA money which the bank have said don't put towards the house, keep it, as they can tell I'm gonna have the overdraft paid off in no time so it makes more sense to keep the ISA and earn interest tax free on the money in it.
Nice to see you're paying attentionOVERDRAFT TODAY:£36,100

So now I'm focussing on paying that big red amount on my signature file off. Have a cheque for £2500 to bank today which will take me into the 80s.
Have a couple of big contract meetings over the next 2 weeks which add up to big chunks off this as well as lots of money due to come in anyway.
Feeling confident, but slightly overwhelmed with the magnitude of what I've done!OVERDRAFT TODAY:£36,100

If you can get 41% of your house paid off in 1 month, then £90K shouldn't be too much more of a stretch!!!
