Moto is Topshop - It's Topshop own Denim Brand. It's the same as if you buy something from Primark and the label says Atmosphere. If the buyer did not know that I don't know where they have been living for the past 10 years. It's the buyers mistake.
You asked, but fair enough, "it's the buyers mistake".
It's your feedback though, and maybe you should google "moto jeans".0 -

Well when I google Moto jeans they come as available from a number of stores and appear to suggest it is a brand.

They talk about the brand MOTO
I do admit though that I'm not a user of Topshop so maybe they have bought the brand name.

yes in TOTAL agreement... although I'd be tempted to put "fatty..." at the end haha! seriously in all fairness though petite sizes do come up smaller than the regular sizes in all shops... and tall sizes come up bigger than regular. so maybe she's size 10 but because they are petite thats why they don't fit her??? that AND the fact topshops clothing isnt very forgiving is it? you have a slice of chocolate and you have to go on a 4 week detox to get back into your clothes from them!
I think its just the Topshop sizing, they are well known for being on the smaller side!
A petite jean size 10 is the same as a standard size 10 the difference is in the length. The petite range is for people under 5ft3. The amount of times Ive seen a person who is almost 6ft buying from the petite range and saying to someone 'Oh petite just means thin' is quite scary hahaha
Just leave a comment as everyone has suggested.0 -
Thanks, I only listed the size the label said but probably should have made it clearer it was MOTO. I have sold 5-6 others in the past and never had a problem as i assumed people would search for 'Topshop jeans' on ebay. Maybe she thought they were seconds and mis-sized.
Hey ho....i shall be more specific in future.0 -
Who would have thought someone would get picky about Topshop or not?0

Those Moto jeans are not the same as Topshop Moto, they are a Canadian label from looking. No one in the UK will have heard of them. Any UK based young fashionable person that buys in Topshop knows that Moto is Topshop owns Denim brand.
Canadian Moto & Topshop Moto are 2 different things. Any jeans from Topshop are labelled Moto it's their own brand.
I don't know why people are being argumentative about this??
MOTO is Topshop.0 -
That Avril Lavigne link you posted is describing Moto jeans as in the style - a new style of jean that look a bit like Motorbike Trousers, as in Skinny Jeans, Bootcut Jeans, Straight Leg Jeans etc.. The actual brand name there is Rockstar0

MOTO is Topshop.
WSS! Definitely the buyer's mistake. As to the size they should really have asked for measurements so also buyer's mistake. I usually wear a size 10 from anywhere (including Topshop), occasionally they're too small or too big, if I buy jeans on eBay I always ask for measurements before bidding.0
