    Needed to get some fruit and some milk. As I have got back in bananas at the moment.

    Went to somerfield and spent £1.60 bought two reduced loaves and it took another 72p off the total. I was very surprised. So two nice loaves for 19p each when they retail at £1.11 each :eek:

    Went to sainsburys and they where reducing all the bread etc. Spent £3.89 but came out with 3 carrier bags full. But looks like there reduced items no longer take off any multi save offers :( and one of the loaves of bread I picked up had mould on it. So checked the others I had to make sure it was ok.

    This was from household spends and not personal money. So should be sorted for bread and milk for a few days :rotfl:

    Today I have spent £6 in a discount warehouse store. I needed to get some hand cream and birthday cards so this is what I left the store with, £6 later:

    * 4 very sweet birthday cards (4 for a quid)
    * 5 sheets of wrapping paper (nice thick stuff too - 5 sheets for a quid)
    * A big pack of Golden Wonder "Lites" (gave away the sour cream & onion ones though....don't like those)
    * Hand cream
    * Two tubes of incense sticks (2 for a quid) - get through those like nobody's business as I like to cook garlic-y and spicy foods which make the house smell!
    * 4 bars of Nivea gentle soap

    Then I went back to work and gave £4 to the book man for another Xmas present which is a very posh baking book for my friend who loves making cakes etc.

    So all in all quite a productive day I feel!
