I had my first visit to a dentist today after over two years. No NHS dentists taking people
on so had to spend £65 on assessment then agreed to £15.14 per month DENplan starting next month. Went to Boots and spent £7.71 on hair products - not good as I now have approximatly £10 left until the 25th August and any money earned from P/T job will have to be used for food, not extra C/C payments as planned. VV BAD!! Total Debt November 2016 =£9,660.52
Monthly Repayments = £593.09
Goal to be debt free December 2017/ Savings £500 :T0 -
Well a no spend day for me today! I was expecting to buy quite a few birthday cards, buying ahead in bulk so I don't forget anyone's birthdays this year! But couldn't find any I like so might wait until I next go shopping and go to tesco and buy some value cards. So that's 50% towards one of my goals for the week as I wanted 2 no-spend days this week!!Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts

I spent £7.62 in Sainsburys on juice for the kids for the park as I forgot to make them some at home, and baby food tins and jars. I am going to start making my own eventually, honest!!!! Other than that, £113.54 catalogue repayment (nearly clear now, yippee). Had a good weekend though and managed not to spend anything.Official DFW Nerd #148

hi MJBP,
Are you claiming benefits? I am sure a friend of mine could claim back interview travelling expenses whilst on JSA. Also, how much is a weekly ticket, it might be worth it if you're travelling more than 2 days per week? Thirdly, do you need a travel card? Would a return train fare be adequate? Tube and bus fares are cheaper in London if you use an oyster card (I think you have to pay a £10 deposit but will be useful if you are going to be working in London and you can claim the deposit back if you don't). Have a look on https://www.tfl.gov.uk. Oh, and lastly, good luck with the interviews, what kind of job are they for?Saving for an early retirement!0
