    There's 19 months between my DS1 and DD1 ..... but between my DS1 & DD1 I had another DS2 who died at 20 weeks.

...and I wonder why my pelvis is knackard after 3 pregnancies so close!!
  • Congratulations.

My youngest two are only 9 months and 10 days apart (I have 4). I totally agree with code-a-holic as I have absolutey no recollection of youngest DS first year. I do remember falling asleep standing up (I woke up when my head touched the mirror lol).

My boys are now 6 and 5 and are the best of friends. The first 18 months or so were hard but it really is lovely now - except the noise level, but that is mainly DS1 (17 yrs) and DD (9yrs) playing music at increasingly noisy levels trying to drown each others music out.

    Best of luck

I would guess that spotting was implantation and you're going to be around 5 weeks

I had 15 months between my eldest pair and I have to say am dreading the 6 year gap I'll have this time far more

Congratulations. I really wanted a small gap between mine but it didn't work out that way. Hopefully when they are older they will play well together (Well you never know;))

I had a lady come to collect a car seat I gave away on freecycle and she said she was pregnant with twins and once they were born she would have 5 kids under 4:eek:

  • I've got a 14 month gap between my two and its absolutely fantastic! They are like twins and get on so well! When my youngest came along he just slotted into the family fairly easily as we were already changing nappies and making bottles for the first, lol.

Now they are a bit older then play together, keep each other amused and are just generally a joy. I was petrified when I first found out I was pregnant with my second (I was in maternity clothes for two years!) but now I think its the perfect age gap!

My neighbour's son had a child with his GF and she then got pregnant again 4 weeks after giving birth (I kid you not). This was her fourth and she, he and the kids are doing fine :D I know it was very scary for them both, there were some heated 'debates' early on in the pregnancy when she felt his Mum was being 'judgemental' after they told her but it all worked out ok and I think it was the sheer panic of the situation at the time.
