  • Congratulations!

What a shock for you. A simple blood test at the doctors can let you know how far gone you are, I think from when pregnant the second time with my daughter they now do an early scan, so that would also help confirm dates etc.

How have you coped with your other 3 have you managed ok? It is a huge shock isn't it. There are organisations out there who can help. Homestart, training nanny schools do placements with children born close together, failing that, maybe an au pair might come in handy if you can find a room to put her in.

Take care of yourself. It is early days and will take a while to sink in.

Sounds like you are about 5 weeks.. congratulations!!

There are worse things.. enjoy!! a 14 month gap isn't so bad! Could be less than a year like some people have!

    Congratulation, what wonderful news.

imo it sounds like your about 5 week#s. but i have heard of some having a very light period when only a couple weeks preg, so you could be further i guess. hopefully you can get a scan soon to give you an acurate date.

Xanthe congratulations how wonderful I would say you are probably 5 weeks gone but get yourself up the docs and they will arrange a scan for you.

Im one of the less than twelve months between the two that pigpen mentioned so you have done better than me. My bubs will be 11 1/2 months old when new one arrives. I also believe that once you get past two kids it doesnt really change much more no matter how many you have. At least i hope thats how it works im sure some of the 5th 6th and 7th timers will correct me if im wrong. :-) x

    Congratulations!!

Apparently falling pregnant soon after having a baby is quite common, as couples are so pre-occupied with looking after the new born, they overlook the contraception thing!

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Congratulations! I have a slightly bigger gap of 17 months between my 2 boys but took me ages to fall for the second one as I wanted them both a year or less between them :)

From a moneysaving point of view one will be growing into stuff just as the other is growing out of it.
