Nothing to do with money but what's the deal with iggle piggle

My Daughter likes to watch the night garden but when ever it comes on and I see iggle piggle floating off in his little boat I feel like crying, I'm filling up now just thinking about it. I had to leave the room this morning as there had been 2 episodes on and I could feel my self losing it as he had just floated off at the end of one episode then he was floating off again at the start of the next one. I'm guessing this just my affliction or I could just be going bonkers. :o

No I don't feel sad when I see igglepiggle floating off. I'm pregnant and I cry a lot :rotfl:

I did laugh though, when after about ten minutes of trying to explain ITNG to my friend's 17 year old brother he went:

'Oh, is that the weird thing like the teletubbies where all the little mexicans go into the house? The ones that need to see social services because they lose their kids all the time'

Yep, that'd be the one :D

I love the way that everyone has seen it. I have to admit when it first came out I used to be riveted to it from start to finish. I think i was 22 :o

  • LOL the pontipines, the actual program has no effect on me but she likes it and it makes her laugh so it's on a lot. I need to get out more.

We lost an Iggle Piggle book in Bristol at the weekend, my little boy must have dropped it. I'm actually quite upset :o

Are you crying with relief the programme is over, with laughter at how surreal it is or for another reason?:p

My poor son - we never watch any childrens TV. In fact I don't put the TV on until he goes to bed during the week.
I've just put CBeebies on and popped him on Daddy's beanbag so we'll see if it keeps him entertained.

Never seen ITNG in my life :o

I don't get ITNG at all - it's all slightly freaky. More into Peppa Pig myself and would very much like to adopt little brother George.:o

DH harbours some very aggressive feelings towards Angelina Ballerina which probably need talking through at some point.

My OH hates ITNG with a passion, I can see why a bit because for a year or so, all the language the little 2 learned was replaced by 'Ninky Nonk' over and over again for almost a year

I quite like waybuloo which is new to cbeebies, but only because my 6 year old twins attempting the 'yogo' makes me giggle. I'm a mean mum :D

But Daddy Pig is such an idiot!

We love ITNG! I find it a little disturbing, but my DD belly laughs every night when 'Iggle Piggle's not in bed', and falls over.

Plus, we watch ITNG with the bedtime bottle, so ITNG & Bottle = bedtime. :D
