Piggers - maybe you should ban anything new from coming into the house until you've emptied what's already there...

My problem has been not the amount of marking I've brought home [ well that is a problem if I'm honest] but the number of emails I've had from pupils wanting help with coursework and all the bits of marking they have sent me - teaching now seems to be a 24/7 job. In the past I have even had a pupil send me some work about 11.45pm one night and then ask me at 8.50am the next morning, if they could have their marked work back !!!!!!
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

Pigpen~: I think you need help in sorting it, can the older children help you at all??

Just had a massive row with my godson's father, he is now blaming me for when he and his wife split up 6 years ago !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and me not telling him where the wife and child moved to...................I never knew her new address, or which school the child was at, and she wouldn't let me see my godson, in case I ran off with him, back to the father............some people just make me so mad.

Just decluttered £406 to the garage for my car service, it need a new something or other, that cost £££, but it would have been nearer £800 if I had taken it to the autorised dealer, but as the car is now nearly 6 years old and with 164,000 miles on it, I am not too worried about authorised dealers!!

Going to calm down by hoovering, very therapeutic as far as I am concerned.

    Afternoon all,

Lots of good wishes to Mumto5, hope you are okay.

Did someone mention Smokie? Only had chance to skim the thread so not sure who it was. We saw them in Spiretown last Friday. I got the tickets as part of DH's birthday pressie; thought they were good, but I'm afraid my tastes are a bit heavier really. :D

Been into work today, for half an hours training that turned into two hours! Had a lovely lunch out with two friends though & then got new curtains & bedding for DD's room.

    Flying wise:
Wednesday ~ Master Bedroom & Landing
    :j:jALL DONE:j:j

Just waiting for Mr T's delivery now.
Will put DD's curtains up I think & I must hide the packaging from the Yankee candle April megapack that arrived this morning before DH gets home & sees it!;)

    love to all....

Ds1 offered to clean the car for money  so he's doing that now. I don't mind paying i hate cleaning the car. I've emptied all the bins and put the rubbish out so Ds1 can use the bins for the rubbish out of the car. I've just put tea on and Ds2 is calm now after a major tantrum because he lost his tardis keyring for the 4th time in 10 mins.

    Hugs mumof5 xx

I've worked, pottered and s/s'ed today. Off to do a HHC and then start taxi services again as DD is better.

I'll start with emptying the washing machine...can't believe there was another load to do today after doing so much Sunday/Monday. Oh well!

I've just been to the greenhouse and the rubarb is now showing - I've never grown it from seed before and know it will be a few years before I get anything from it but it was too expensive to buy as a crown. Fingers crossed....right...

    HHC 1715 to 1745

Hugs to all but especially LL, toots, diva and pigpen though she'll probably throw a mule at me! xx
