I have found 4 walnut trees in the park just accross the road from me (30 seconds walk), and another three up the other end of the village. They're lovely when they're fresh. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Walnuts oughtn't to be ready for a few weeks yet (although maybe earlier this year due to the hot weather) -- but try telling that to the squirrels, which have most of the ones off our tree in our garden. Though there seem to be more this year so maybe we'll get a few. The last coupla years I've pickled some so as to get in ahead of the squirls! (pickled the walnuts, that is, not the squirrels...)Expect the worst & hope for the best...0
