Had a lovely lunch with my friend and her daughter :) made me feel a tad broody, even though there's no chance of that yet! :rotfl:

It has made me reflect on older times; how much easier it was to go to school each day and have your friends beside you. I think that when I start full time in Sept, that keeping such relations up will be difficult, especially with some of my friends who live far away. You don't realise at school how easy it is, and yet at the same time, years 10 and 11 were the worst of my life. Strange. In some ways I'd give anything to be back there, and then other times, I'm so glad all that is behind.

    It's like a catch-22.

Meeting up with another friend for a hot chocolate and a chat later, so it's another spend day today for me. I don't think I'll reach my target for July, but never mind! I've already had 120 NSDs this year so far, so I guess I'm not doing too badly.

I'm off to the BF's tonight as we've managed to get a second look at the cottage tomorrow so we can do some measuring to see if any of our furniture will fit :) we've managed to get different things from various people, so we hardly need to buy any furniture at all :) the biggest thing we need to buy is a dining table!

I need to start sorting stuff to move, but I'm putting it off for some reason. Can't work out why.

Met said friend - had a hot choc as it's so miserable outside! Also treated myself to a cream scone - and then I wonder why I'm not losing weight! Oh well, I don't want any tea now so I guess that's a bonus :p But, she paid! So, it's my 12th NSD of July after all. I might just sneak under at the last minute! We'll see.

Added more to the list of things to do, now just to actually do something off the list....

I haven't been online for a few days because I haven't been well and look what I have missed! You have come back from holidays and you are moving into a cottage - your Mums obviously going to miss you. Is the cottage far from where your Mum lives?

Jo - hope you're feeling better! The cottage is about an hour away from mum :)
taxi - I am excited, but other emotions are mixed in there too I think.

Been to see the cottage again today to make some measurements - the furniture we've been given will fit :j so that's a big relief.

Going for a big shop tomorrow to get bits and pieces - I need to make a list! Haven't spent anything today though, so it's the 13th NSD of the month :)

I am feeling a little better today, thanks. I have to go to hospital on Tuesday for a biopsy, needless to say I am not looking forward to it!

At least you will still be able to call and see your Mum if she is only an hour away. Good news that the furniture will fit into the cottage. It is so exciting finding your own place. Enjoy your shopping tomorrow and perhaps you could keep an eye out for your much deserved handbag!

Jo - biopsy? that doesn't sound fun - I hope it goes okay.

Well, can't believe it's Monday again already! Eeek. Got so much to sort out, but I've made a good start. We went and bought bits and pieces on Saturday - like a clothes horse, bread bin, pegs, oven gloves, it's all exciting around here :rotfl: I've got to make a start on my room really, I need to have a mega sort out at the same time so I'm avoiding it!

Should be another NSD today, but I'll confirm that later :)
