Sounds like you had a fab time and how exciting coming back to moving in.0

Hi sf:hello:
Good to have you back again and glad you had a good time in Italy.
Oooh, moving, how exciting - it's all coming together now:j

Oooohh I love lists
Let's get started then folks, as Time is getting short..
You will need to notify:-
bank
new employer
road tax
driving licence --will you need a new photo for that?
car insurance
tv licence
broadband
mobile & land line phones
house, health &/or any insurances
shop club cards, like T3sco, B00ts, etc
re-direct post
DOCTOR! & dentist
rellies
passport? don't really know as I've never had one!
extend guarantees
gym & other social clubs
Start collecting:-
lots of newspapers for wrapping delicate glass & tableware
strong boxes
strong bags, like canvas shoppers & things
lots of papers & biros, left in strategic places to jot things down as you think of them
Some great tips I've read recently is to:-
1) have a 'moving in' box with things like tea bags, coffee, sugar, matches, light bulbs, loo roll, mugs, plates, cutlery, salt, pepper, milk, squash, tin opener, soup, loaf, washing up liquid, bin liner & paper towel. This is the first thing you put on the draining board in the kitchen, then everything else can be brought in at will but you'll have easy access to make a hot drink & something to eat.
2) make up the bed as soon as possible so when it all gets too much, you can just collapse into it
Many Congratulations on all you've achieved so far & here's to Many Happy Times for you both, as you begin the next stage of Life's Journey x

BMF - what an amazing list! Things I hadn't thought of at all - like changing the addressing on my Boot$ card :rotfl: There are so many things to consider, it's mental!
Been into my new school again today - got my timetable for next year and it looks SO scary! it's not really, but it seems like a lot of lessons to fit in! But, I am excited about starting now, so that's good
Another NSD under my belt too, so all is goodback to sorting out things to do! It's even longer now that BMF has highlighted things I hadn't thought of! :rotfl:

Had a big sort out this evening of paper work and clothes
I still need to do a lot more (where has all this stuff come from?!) but it's a great start.
I am SO excited, I have to keep telling myself that I have a week and a half to go yet! Just can't wait to move and be with the BF. Don't think my mum's looking forward to it that much thoughBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I'm off to meet a friend for lunch today so it won't be a NSD. I haven't seen her in aaaaages so I'm looking forward to itshe's bringing her lovely daughter, who is just over 1, and who I haven't seen since she was born  so we have lots of catching up to do!
I weighed myself this morning, and all that food in Italy (mm pasta, bread and pizza ) has played havoc with my weight lossin fact, i think I've gained 2lbs more.
So, back to the drawing board with that. Sigh.
Have a great day everyone, and I'll update laterBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
