I didn't get the job :( they haven't appointed anyone in the end.

I just don't know where to go from here - feels like I'm never going to get another job.

Oh dear, so sorry to hear about the job SF, lots of ((((((hugs)))))). :(

Just remember: working supply will give you more teaching practice and show your flexibility and ability to cope with change and different challenges...so keep on plugging away. You will get something permanent in the end...I know you will, the best is worth waiting a bit longer for! :)

    Nothing much to report.

Me and OH went for a lovely walk in the sunshine yesterday, had lunch out and went round to some friends for tea :) it was nice to get out while the weather was so nice. Today it's raining and generally miserable, so we're just popping to Mr T's and then will stay in and not do much.

I've applied for a teaching assistant job, as there is nothing coming up at the moment, and at least that would keep me earning and in a school in the mean time. I'm trying not to let it get me down too much, but it's making me feel really down. I feel as if i'm just not good enough, which is a horrible feeling :(

You're right to go for the teaching assistant job SF. As you say, it keeps the money coming in, allows you to stay in the teaching environment and gives you more experience working with children.

Don't ever think you are not good enough, it's just that the right job hasn't come up for you yet.

Lots of (((((hugs))))) to cheer you up. xx

Well, I have an interview for a TA job on Friday morning. Obviously isn't not as good as teaching, but it's better than nothing. I'm trying not to think about the wages, or lack of, or the fact that I'm trained as a teacher but not doing it at the moment. I'm just trying to take one step at a time, otherwise I think I may just cry... :o

On a positive note, I've had another NSD today, which has to count for something. We're really going to have to cut back, where possible, over the next month or so, so I'm off to a good start :)
