Thanks :D I've also put £100 to the house deposit pot, so managed to save over £600 this month, which I'm really pleased about :)

Okay, so I've being looking through our kitchen cupboards and I have set myself a mini challenge - not to buy any more hot drinks, cereal bars or cereal!

    We currently have:
    - 1 box peppermint tea
    - 1 box green tea with pineapple and grapefruit
    - 1 box chai tea
    - 1 box lady grey tea
    - 1 box normal tea
    - 1 tub light hot choc
    - 1 tub brownie hot choc
    - 1 tub Horl!cks
    - 1 jar instant coffee
    - 1 packet of fresh coffee (for our coffee machine)
    - 1 box of oats so simple
    - 1 box of ready brek
    - 1 box of ordinary porridge
    - 1 box of wheetab!x
    - 1 box of cornflakes
    - 4 boxes of Nutrigrain bars

The other thing is, OH doesn't eat/drink all of these things! So, my mini challenge is to NOT buy any more tea, of any kind! Or any other hot drink stuff, for that matter. Nor do I need any breakfast cereals or bars until I've finished all of these that we have in our house.

Just looking at this list - I'm not doing so well on working through this pile of stuff! :o

    Thanks Keiss :)

I got my hair cut yesterday for the first time in 6 months - I had vouchers given to me for christmas so it didn't cost me anything :) I used to go to the hair dresses about every 6 weeks or so, but cut down due to cost more than anything. It was nice to have my hair washed, cut and then dried by someone else :) plus it looks much better too!

So, I've had 2 NSDs in July already, and I'm hoping that today will be the third. We do have to do some food shopping, but that'll probably be tomorrow now.

Hya SF, glad you enjoyed getting your hair done.

I had my hair cut and coloured (highlighted) on Friday, a real treat. The copper highlights were much redder than I had expected, but after a couple of washes, they are now heading to a more coppery colour. :D

Watching the tennis while here on MSE, amazingly Rafa's going down to Djokovic, and in straight sets too!!!

Really should be ironing, might have to get off my a*** and get the iron on...loads to do! :o

Hope you have good week ahead...take care xxx

Oops, not got much ironing done, played too long on the 'puter!! :o

Should get some more done tonight, though have to do some work on my CV....suppose I should be thinking about applying/looking for jobs soon, now I'm nearly fully redundant :o.

Good luck with your job hunting...any more on the horizon??

    Have a good week xx
