please don't let it affect your sleep as losing sleep doesn't change anything and will only make you ill....you cannot change anything and you need your energy.
You will find another job ..just keep filling the forms in and am sure you'll find a job...good luck and try not to worry.I know it's hard but worrying doesn't change anything...big hugs xxx0 -

Hya SF...good luck with your job hunting. It is difficult trying not to worry...I was quite nervous before having my one-to-one redundancy meeting today...slept terribly last night!
As it was, the HR woman was lovely and the college has offered me much more redundany money than I was expecting...so think I will take the money and run!!! It does mean that I won't be doing the evening knitting classes next term (can't work for the college for 2 years if I take redundancy money!!)...but I can still carry on with the invigilating. Feel a bit sad about leaving the college...would like to have stayed, coming in just to invigilate will be hard at first I expect.
I am considering using the redundancy money to set up some sort of business of my own. Still haven't sorted it out in my head yet...but possibly some IT/knitting/crafting/gardening classes...I still want to teach in some way...but this time on my own terms...wish me luck!!!
Off to discuss things with my lil' sis...she's great (a former HR manager - she took voluntary redundancy last week!!).
Hope you sleep better tonight. xxx
