    Good Aftrenoon.

I had a lazy lie in again. I did get up at 9.30 but OH wouldn't let me out of the room, and then went out and left me sleeping til one o'clock! I do need it though, I am done in!

My lovely new lilac tree arrived yesterday, the UPS man delivered it upside down, and did apologise if it was, but to be fair to him, there was no "This way up" label on it. Hoever, the minimal damage will be sorted easily enough I'm sure, I am so looking forward to it blooming. I also got some ordinary ilacs for free with my order, and dug out most of the area where they are going yesterday afternoon, off out to finish it, soon. I received my Dig In seeds last week, and they are getting sown today, too, and all my front borders will also get sorted.

Glad to hear Diva is doing well, and that you are recovering well, too BargainBird hugs too, to Cranky and George and all who feel the need.

Love to you all from gorgeous sunny warm Glasgow!

PS Coco may have a phantom pregnancy but she is not producing milk so vet undecided, will keep an eye, and took some blood to make sure nothing too untoward.

I'm back! Parted with €100 to pc world at lunchtime and I now have a new monitor....19 ins which is bigger than last one but the smallest and cheapest they had.

Have read some of the thread and am pleased to hear that Diva may be home to day....will take me a while to catch up with what has been happening to everyone....had a shock when I saw that you had OH in wm Ruby....reread and saw that it was just his work clothes.

Going out in a minute to start a bbq...just OH, dd4 and DGS2 but it will give us the feeling that its summer.

Feel soooo pleased to be back don't feel a day over 50!

Hugs to all, especially those in need or want

    hey all,

thank you for my well wishes, unfortunately i had a car accident 2 years ago and got whiplash, so know what to expect neck wise, but didn't expect the stomach whiplash. Feeling loads better but am exhasuted from the housewarming party last night and all the drugs I am on (which was a huge success) so haven't been able to catch up on the posts properly.

Trying to look on the brightside of the accident and have a standing joke nw with my OH. His recent accident compensation came through and we put it towards the bathroom, so perhaps anything I get we can put towards new flooring! Lol!

My finish friend made the most amazing HM spinach and feta pie with a carrot and oatmeal base, people demolished that quicker than anything else!

Love you guys so much on here, i love this little community!

Hmmm will add up debt and stick on on later!

We went to the rock garden show, enjoyed it very much, caught up with a couple of friends and OH met two people from his home village......of course I bought some plants!! we decided to turn one of the planters DS2 made for us into a rock garden, so will be looking for some rubble to put in the bottom. Rock plants do not need much soil, but do need good drainage......

A view of the centre table, there were flowers all round the room, some really lovely ones and some quite weird ones too.

OH off to his green opening day for the bowls, I watched the grand national and made a pizza, a big bowl of salad and potato salad for supper when OH gets home.

OH said he would like to go to Paris again, I looked at the prices to fly, we can go for 10 days in a caravan with 4 nights in hotels on the way down and back for less than the cost of the flights and hotel for 4 days. The site is outside Paris but with train links into the capital and is on the edge of a village...will have to see what OH says when he comes home. I do have some vouchers towards the tunnel, by the time we are ready to go I should have some more. I need to really think if I want to go through taking meals, bedding etc on a 2 days jaunt through England and over/under the channel for 10 days and then doing the same on the way back!! Apart from anything else, I need to sort out how we will pay for it!!!!!! Something will have to give!!
