    Hi all
Great to hear Diva has had her op and should be home today:j we have all missed you.
Up very early again today:o am shattered from lack of sleep this week. Have already had bacon sandwich and Noah has had sausage sandwiches. He wants to stay at home today and cosy up he says, I think being out all day has overstimulated him yesterday:cool:.
Plan to get some planting done today in various pots. I also have a huge pile of ironing to clear and must make some cake or cookies for the tins which are now empty.
I think OH and I will have chicken salad and new pots for tea.....Co op have their elmwood chickens half price at the mo so have been buying them and roasting them to have in the fridge for sandwiches etc as it is cheaper than buying cooked meat.
Fatcat is sat in a cardboard box at the moment, she had to shoehorn herself in:rotfl:Noah has been pushing her around in it pretending it is her car.....daft animal just sits there. We are drawing some wheels on later apparently:p.
Sistercas yes that museum is great. I have to get there with him just as it opens and choose a sunny day when it isnt too busy. If it gets busy he just lies on the floor or runs around with me chasing him;). It is free as you say but the food in the cafe is expensive and we always have to have our snack there but not paying to get in makes up for it really:D
Bargainbird hope you are ok hon.
Bitsy don`t stay away too long;)
Tiredmum hugs to you....they seem like nightmare neighbours..that is going too far though:eek:, its dangerous!
well off to open a tin of stinky tuna for the cat who is giving me the eye:rotfl:
will check back later to see if any word on Diva

    Morning all

What a beautiful day here :)

I woke at 6 but managed to go back to sleep til half 8. My brother is doing a parachute jump today so I'm planning on heading over to the vicinity. I may not see him actually jump, but the small airport is right by my nan's and my parents live 5 mins further along so I think I'll go visiting, to the farm shop, and cheer my bro on from the ground somewhere nearby!

Other than that I have no plans. The sun is meant to shine all weekend so I think I'll just sit on my balcony or by the beach when I get home this afternoon. I did want to have a BBQ tonight but 2 out of my 4 friends who I would have invite are busy :( But I think I'll have veggie burgers in rolls anyways!

    Have a great Saturday all

    Morning all,

Bright and beautiful here again :T I could get used to this :D, I have OH, work bag and shoes in the wm, both were soooooo filthy I cant bear having them in my shoe cupboard, they are both canvas type material so should be ok, I visited the house he is working on yesterday, it is the most beautiful house I have ever seen, it was built in 1846, for when queen Victoria visited the area, (not for her to stay in, just to impress), it is in a completly run down state, but is lovingly being done up, it has a huge walled garden with fountain, and a 'buttery' at the back, which is a hexagonal building tiled from top to bottom, with a marble trough running all the way around the inside of the walls, and a fountain in the middle of the floor, they used to make the butter in there, even in yesterdays heat it was freezing cold in there. I must get back there and take some before and after photos. It is being rented out (once finished) to a very wealthy lady, who's husband was in banking, ( before his death) at £8000 per month  sorry not os at all but interesting I thought.

Ok so washing to go on the line, I am loving the weather, getting everything dried and away each day.

Dinner tonight will be hm fridge debris soup, which included some old salad stuff that needed using :o ( dont tell dd :D) with crusty bread, followed by fruit salad and ice cream, will then settle down to Dr who :T

Would like to do a bit on work on the utility, its taken me two days to get the paint off of two walls,, so maybe sand the rest down and fill the holes ready for painting. And then maye get out for a walk with the dog, and take the kite out, its far too nice to be stuck in all day.

DD is off out with her dad, I hope they are going to open a bank account with a solo card, which I will pay her allowance into, hopefully he will match it and pay in the same, not holding my breath on that one though, he has never ever given her any pocket money, but I feel he needs to start. She is still looking for a saturday job, and has applied for one yesterday so fingers crossed for that, she needs to be earning some money, cos she sure knows how to spend it :D

Sorry I have gone on a bit today :rotfl:, have fun all xx

Bargainbird how are you feeling xx

Cranky big hugs to you xx

Tired mum hope you are ok xx

    Good Morning All

Tired-Mum - that's terrible, glad you are ok.

((((Hugs))) for Diva, Cranky & anyonelse who needs one.

Bitsy - hope you get your laptop sorted asap.

Weather is wonderful here today, will possible work in the garden later or take the dog and the kids for a walk along the beach. Can't drag the barbeque out yet as have loads of logs in front of it - a job for OH today methinks.

Head cold is still there, was meant to be going out tonight but will cancel, had a good sleep and lie in courtesy of Night Nurse so that has helped a lot.

Think will potter about the house this morning, need to pop out to the library as some books I have ordered are there.

Pork kebabs for tea & probably bacon sarnies for lunch.

    Have a great day.x

My dig in seeds have arrived in the post this morning :j and I am already inspired as my sweet peppers and my tomato plan have germinated :D need to get to Mr A as they had bags of compost in there for £1 yesterday.

One lot of pizza dough made and second in the BM now.....too many of us to do it all in one go and as I'm making extra I think I may need three lots!

Just found out I had my wires crossed and its neighbours daughters party tomorrow so I need to get some jobs done today to free up time tomorrow - should be easy enough and might even bribe the kids with a visit to the big park if they are good while we're out!

  • Hi...stepping in for the first time.

It is so glorious today, my house has gone to rack and ruin the past week as we have been making the most of the improved weather and going out every day so the place is a tip. Last night I resolved to stay in today and blitz the place, however waking up to the sunshine after a bads night sleep I changed my mind and decided to take my daughter out for the day, the cleaning and washing isn't going anywhere, however as she has just thrown a major strop, I have said we are not going out and the house will (hopefully) get tidied.

I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks and last night was really bad, hasn't been that bad for a long long time so I am feeling very tired, lethargic and low. I keep telling myself that my spirits will lift once my house is sparkly!

Once the kitchen is cleaned up, it's is totally white from my latest breadmaking effort, I shall bake some goodies :) With a bit of luck that will even improve my D(dreaded)Ds mood!

Grumpy the house elf is fine thanks Donny. Well it's the end of the 2weeks holidays, and I've let him live.

The ship that Paul died on came into port this week, which has hit me quite hard. I knew she would be here sometime soon, but not exactly when, and it still upset me more than I expected.

The builders have finally finished the bathrooms. It's taken them ages, and the house has been a tip. Very little OS has happened, so I haven't been posting. We've finally got the house back to ourselves until June now, so I hope to be cooking and baking again. I was going to make cakes today, but my aunty rang and said my uncle's band is playing in the park up the road. My cousins and their children are going, so I'm going to make up a picnic for the Elf and I, and we'll be setting off soon.

    Take care all of you
