We are paying through the nose for that service though - It took them a LOT of phone calls to get those 9 viewers, .
Is that NOT what you'd expect an EA to be doing for you anyway?
I'd expect every EA to be pretty proactive in getting a sale. They don't get a set fee - they only make money if they sell - so why wouldn't they try and sell it?0 -

My house has been on the market for 2 weeks and I havent have a single viewing yet! Is this normal? or just the market at the moment I have heard that things have gone quiet until the election in may.
When did you get your first viewing?
2 weeks and now viewings isnt good. Are you in a rural area?
Our EA had lined up viewings before it went on the internet. We had 8 in the 1st week. 6 on the 2nd week and 3 on week 3 (we sold at the end of week 3)
I think you need to speak to your EA and perhaps think about looking at other EAs if you can
Is you rightmove/findaproperty add looking good? A link perhaps?please excuse my username- my husband set it to the email account when he was young free and stooooopid0 -

Yes, you would but it seems that others are not. We spoke to a lot of people with property on the market and chose the expensive agent after hearing what they had done for others around here (and what the other agents were not doing despite their promises). FWIW our agent does charge a set fee which equates to around 3% of our sale price.0 -
We got our first 2-3 viewings about 3 days after the house went on the market. Having said that, still trying to sell after about 5 mths :S0

My first viewings were on the first day my flat was on the market - before I'd even got round to signing & returning the EA's contract!
Still took me 8 months to get properly under offer though!0 -
Urgh ours has been on nearly a week now and no viewings

Still waiting for the stupid EA to change some of the pics for me even though I emailed them to her 9.30am Monday and have chased every day since......
I'm feeling very worried.0 -
Our house went on the market last Thursday. The EA wanted all viewings that first Saturday as they wanted it to be busy, still we had one viewing on Thursday, 3 on Friday and 6 on Saturday. We had 3 offers on Monday morning and accepted asking price yesterday. The EA really did do their homework first and rang a lot people to get those viewings on Saturday - it only went on Rightmove on the Friday. I'm paying them 1% commission and they truly deserve it.0

Can you pop into see the EA face to face? Maybe when you're there it'll promote her to stop ignoring your requests..it doesn't take that long to change online pics over! Good luck0
