Does money buy love?

If I went out and wore short shorts, a sleeveless top and slapped a bit of foundation on... most people would assume I was gay.
If i wore a cords pulled way up with braces, tucked my shirt stiffly into it, had a few pens in the shirt pocket and wore sandals with socks.... many people would assume I was a geek.
And before you try to say it, I would be offended by either of those descriptions, just as a woman might by !!!!!!.
It extends beyond clothing too. You see a guy in a fancy car all done up with big exhaust and what have you... boy racer.
Someone playing golf... likely to be snobbish.
Man who likes talking to young girls... paedophile.
These are all generalisations based on a very limited impression. The way women dress is just the same. You cannot reasonably argue the 'looking like a !!!!!!' case and ignore all the analogues.
Unfortunately you will never change human nature and impression is very important in how you will be judged. The case in hand either requires women dress that way and accept they will be judged as 'slutty' or women in general must try and ensure that impression is not true. As long as the 'Ibiza sex trips' are publicised with women dressing in a revealing fashion, you are not going to be able to change the impression given by that way of dressing.2 + 2 = 4
except for the general public when it can mean whatever they want it to.0 -
you might make all those generalisations - i would hope i would talk to someone and find out a little bit more before passing judgement, particularly over a label as serious as being a paedophile. stereotypes will always have a basis somewhere, but if you can't judge an individual based on who they actually are, then i really think it is your loss.:happyhear0

Yes, for about 20 minutes!Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

or how much plastic you got to keep them!!!
IMO being a 20yr old guy i dont go out clubbing much cos i have the stereotype that i dont want to meet the kinda girl that dresses as many of you describe, my best mate on the other hand goes out every week and goes home with a diff girl. He accepts that the prob do it cos hes going to take over his family business and he just plays that.
My prob is finding the right type of girl cos you can go to a club and find a girl for a short term but finding a classy bird is bit harder, prob cos they are all taken!!!!0 -
It is said all the best women are married, have partners or are gay:beer:0

I don't honestly think money can buy love. Just be yourself if a girl doesn't like you for who you are then they are not worth knowing.0

As a guy, attempting to get to know a woman for 'who she is' is all but impossible within a club scene (where this dress is most common). Do you know why? Well I'll tell you.... most women will assume men are just trying to 'chat them up' so will very frequently pay absolutely no attention.
So actually women do the same thing as men. Men assume women who dress slutty are slutty and women assume that men talking to women who are dressed slutty just want sex...2 + 2 = 4

There's a thread on Discussion Time called something like "What's the best thing about your OH?" I don't think 'rich' featured very high on the list ...Signature removed for peace of mind0

The other thing ive learnt is that you can take a girl to a expensive resturant and if it works then they are likely to think thats the norm for future costing you alot of money. Do something different which doesnt have to be expensive.
After my last gf of 4yrs (still 20 so not lost my life!!!!) i needed a new wardrobe cos i had been slacking so i went to a outlet village where i got top brands at cheaper then republic etc so looking good doesnt mean you have to spend alot.0
