Looking at my bills i will have to use some of the holiday fund for the bond. I know we'll be getting £525 back from our old house just not sure how long it will take so totally forgetting about this for now.

Just looked at my credit report and it just keeps getting better :) dont like how its a bit behind. It says my total debt is about £10,000 so better get checking my sig as its abit out.

Big move is happening tomorrow  just a little bit stressed but cant wait :) on Friday i think.

Well, the move went really well after the stress of finding out we had no van the night before. Found a place that you can rent them for a day for £46 so that wasn't too bad.

No sure if i have any bills to pay for the rest of the month. Just depends if things overlap but hoping they dont.

Welcome haven't sent the £900 yet but think they have a back log, so not too worried yet. Cant wait to get it in my savings to boost the holiday pot.

Oh nearly forgot the bad news :( my little hamster died on Tuesday. I was soooo gutted, cant believe how upset i was over a hamster. It really was unwell, took it to the vets about 3 weeks ago as it had lost loads of weight and its fur was falling out. Vet said it could be mites or lymphoma. I really think i was lymphoma as the drops for mites made no difference. Little hammy is in a better place now.

In two minds about what broadband and tv package to get. Really don't want to be spending £50+ each month. OH wants sky sports and unlimited broadband, need to do more research. Think it has to be between sky and BT.

Things we do need for the house are:
    a dining room table
kitchen bin, no room in last house for one :rotfl:
    maybe a new sofa

Cant believe my Halifax CC is nearly under £500 :j i will be so please to see the back of that. Just checked my credit report, i took this cc out 23/08/2006  cant believe i've had it that long haha

Woohoo Halifax CC is under £500 :j not long and hopefully it will be gone.

    OMG where has January gone?????

I've estimated the bills for the new house so hopefully they aren't more than i think. Still need to sort gas and electric for new house, seem to be using someone but not sure who's. Its either n-power or E-on, really need to sort this ASAP.

Holiday savings are coming along :D cant wait. Its been so cold here for ages :rotfl:

Really need to stop the takeaways and start cooking again. Did go shopping for a new sofa but i really dont want to be getting credit for them.

Sky was installed on yesterday, not that i wanted it but i must compromise :rotfl: will get £75 cashback from quidco though :j There is £145 validated so hopefully it will be in my bank soon.

The rational head is back on. Baby is on board :rotfl: doc thought i might be 12 weeks but seeing midwife Friday to find out more. Actually quite excited but S&it scared at the same time.

Dont think i have anymore bills coming out in Feb and still a couple of weeks pay to come in. Still nothing from quidco  its still on validated :(

Sorted out gas & electric with e-on, hopefully get the usage monitor too. No doubt i'll take it to the extreme which OH is totally looking forward to.

Holiday is unlikely to go ahead :( which is quite sad but i cant justify £4000 for 2weeks when there is a baby on the way. OMG it doesn't even feel really.

Really need to get the spending under control again and save save save.

    [STRIKE]Holiday[/STRIKE] BABY fund: 2050/3000

Welcome Finance eventually sent OH he PPI refund :j it has gone straight into the baby fund which is growing nicely as long as I dont get an urge to buy things just yet.

We had scan on Friday to find out I was 14 weeks and 4 days  how on earth didn't i know. Quite scary really. I still dont feel or look pregnant now.

Good news is that i have paid off my halifax CC :j:j:j thank god. The balance wont be Zero until Friday, so i will leave my sig til then. No doubt i will still have a little bit interest to pay. I love it how the CC companies try to entice you into another CC, well it didn't work haha :rotfl: never again do i want a credit card. Just Tesco CC to deal with now :)

March is going be a tight month. £430 off to halifax and OH wants driving lessons before baby is here.

Sun is out and i have a lot to be smiling about :D

Not much to report. First NSD yesterday, mainly as i went straight to bed after work :rotfl:

Feel like my head is about to explode with all the thinking and options i have. Mainly living arrangements. We know the house we are currently in is too small for us. I have spoke to our letting agent who is willing to let us terminate early but we have to pay re-letting fees of about £250. This is great as then we can look at 3 bedroom houses. On the other hand there is a new development underway quite near us. Shared equity and we'd only need 5% deposit. But the chances of us getting a mortgage are small. I think we're rushing into it before having a chance to sort out credit files out. just dont know what to do.

Really i think we would need to sort out our current debt before even being considered for a mortgage.

Oh i must cancel our holiday too :(

Yet another month over, before i know it Christmas will be here. OH gets paid tomorrow which includes a back dated pay rise :j cant wait, although we're going to have to watch every penny.

News on house. Found a lovely bungalow which is huge :) its amazing. Our rent will be £100 more each month but i think it is manageable. Need to make sure i have enough to cover bond and extra rent if we cant get a tenant in our current house.

20week scan is on 5th April :p cant wait to find out if its a girl or boy. Think i felt some movements before which were just weird. Although im talking about it it still doesn't feel real.

Currently internet shopping for some new furniture that is totally unnecessary but theraputic :rotfl:

Cant believe how much a ramble on to myself :( oh well, i hope bubs is listening :rotfl:

Wow where does the time go, I have truly neglected this diary. So, a few little updates, I am now a very proud mummy to a beautiful little girl who will be 10weeks old tomorrow. Had such an 'easy' pregnancy and birth, i'm not sure why I was so scared.

I feel really tired this week now im back to work. I know we couldn't really afford for me to be off much longer. I must keep our spends to a minimum as im just part time now, although we're quite lucky in that we shouldn't have any child care costs for quite a while.

Due to mamas and papas messing our order up i had to buy our nursery furniture on my CC :( this is my 1st debt busting mission. Balance is £808 and I am hoping it wont take me too long to get it paid off.

    My aims for this week:
    1. Open another bank account to get wages paid into and keep bills separate. complete, halifax to get intouch to see if i have been accepted

    2. Contact Halifax re. PPI should receive a letter within 5days

    3. Have 5 NSD 2 so far

    4. Find how much i still owe DFS and update my sig

    5. Join PAD. I think this will really help with paying off my tesco credit card.

    6. Start thinking about xmas presents. Tonight i'll make a list of what i've bought so far. Must not buy chocolates early again as i've ate 1 tin of roses and 1 tin of celebrations  i'll never get rid of this mummy belly :rotfl:

    7. Think about maybe possible doing some exercise, hmmmmm

Well this thats enough aims for this week. Oh think i'll do a header of bills/cash for month.
