Hi Laura, i'm not sure which surveys you are signed up for, but I am with loads and the best ones for me are opinionworld. I have earnt about £25 so far this month! I can "invite" you if you aren't already signed up. Sadly nothing in it for either of us though!
Well done with keeping spending under control as well. Mel x

    Wow its Sunday already.

After work on friday i got the grass cut and got sun burnt haha. OH came in from work and i really didnt fancy cooking so we went out for tea and then a few drinks :( not so MS but we havent ate out in ages. Spent about £60 ooooppps.

Saturday was a NSD. So 1st one for this week. Today wont be. Will go to the metrocentre to get a few cheap money boxes. Really want one for holiday spending money and one for paying the car off. Need to get a little bit shopping in too.

    Goals this week
    • Withdraw £30 to last til Thursday
    • Try 4 NSD. Done 1 already
    • Take dress back
    • List books on Amazon
    • Look for a new job
New job. I think i must say every week that i want a new job, bet OH is sick of hearing it. I've been there 7 years, was my 1st job after leaving school. I know i should be doing something i like and get paid better for. So i will keep looking. I really hate interviews though, omg im scared now just thinking about it

So glad this week is nearly over. I feel quite disappointed with myself. So many people are in a worse position than me and i cant see this debt moving. I dont have children or a mortgage so why cant i get these cc paid off. I know why and thats the interest!!! Feel like im getting nowhere. Need to sit down at the weekend and get a proper budget sorted.

Had 2 NSD today and yesterday but had to post things sold on ebay. Im really hoping next week is better. Payday for both of us tomorrow as thats something to look forward to.

Cant believe how inspiring everyone is on here, i need to get my a!!! into gear :rotfl:

I've put all my books on amazon but think it might take a while before they sell. I've done 3 reviews on dooyoo so must get cracking and see what else i can waffle about. Dress was taken back but exchanged it for something else :o

Today i will start looking for a job. Must update my cv too!! Tonight is gonna be so busy, table booked for 7.30 then out for drinks after. Really hope we dont spend too much.

Happy Friday everyone, hope the sun gets out over the weekend :p

Had a great weekend, didnt spend anything on Friday as OH paid which was a bonus. Managed a NSD Friday and Saturday.

Some good news: Recieved a cheque on Saturday for £165.00 from Simplify Digital. Due to MSE i joined Virgin through them to get cash back. A nice little start to the holiday fund. :T

Got my 2 sealed money boxes, one has £80 in and the other will have the £165 in once its cleared.

Hoping to have a quiet week. Love catching up with other peoples diarys, so think i'll be doing that for most of today :rotfl:

Well this week has been uneventful. Did manage a NSD yesterday and think today will be one too. Bank doesnt look too bad but owe a friend £33.80 for trip to London in July.

Need to do a big shop soon but trying to hold off a few more days :rotfl:

Really need to get back to selling Avon. Didn't make an order this campaign and got a telling off from SL :rotfl:oh well.

Im half day Friday so getting hair cut, first cut since October after i was skinned at T&G. Worst hair cut i've ever had. Will be going to the butchers after to get enough to last a month. Allowed £19 for hair and £30 for meat.

Oh found my credit report from Sept 2009. Totalled up my debt and it was £19,554  thats so bad. Im embarrassed. Never again.

    Hey there,

How you doing? It is scary isn't it when you look back at debts, in 2008 mine were over 60k  I'm getting there slowly and vow NEVER to every borrow money again - there shouldn't be a need once I have paid them off as will have all my salary to me :)

Keeping a diary makes and visiting this site keeps me really focused - really motivating diaries on here and some amazing stories.

    Take care x
