Mobiles.co.uk - Submitting Cashback Claims via Website
I submitted my first cashback claim over the bank holiday weekend via their website. I didn't receive any automated e-mail acknowledgement.
Has anyone else submitted their claim this way ? - Do you normally get an immediate response ?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I would give it until Monday. Then I would email them to check receipt and processing (there is a link on the website if you can log onto your account). There is no room for complacency; if you don't get a response there is no penalty for sending it again. Make sure you have something in writing before you accept that they have received (and then accepted) your claim. This is not the sort of company to trust.0

i did mine through their website and although i cant remember how long it took to get a confirmation email however if you havent got one by now i would either contact them and ask if they have got it or just send your proof again, when you consider you only have a set amount of time to send it off you run the risk of missing out if you dont chase it
but on a side note i did eventually get my cheque although it took a long time ~2 months from sending my proof in to actually getting the chequeDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
I too submitted a claim online recently and have received no acknowledgement. For my last claim, they acknowledged it the next working day, after receiving a receipt of email confirmation immediately. Nothing this time. They've probably caught on they're making it easier for people to claim.0

I received my acknowledgement after about 5 days and then 2 days later they processed the cheque and it has apparently now been sent out.0

Watch out for the mail snail then. He will be along any week/month now!0

It took over 2 weeks for me to receive an official acknowledgement that my claim had been received after I submitted online.0

I tried calling them yesterday at 5:20, only to be told that they close at 5:30 !! - and that e-mails via there website are answered within 4 business hours (so much for that then!!).
Did you have to chase it to get the acknowledgement, or did it just come through in its own time ?
Thanks0 -
Why not send cashbacks recorded delivery in post and save yourself some hassle. And if you do this post on a Saturday or Monday to avoid them claiming that delivery was on a weekend and no one was around to sign for it.
Last I worked it out, you could wait up to 57 days per cashback based on the wording on their sites which tallies with my past experience of cashbacks with carphone warehouse direct.0 -
Why pay for postage when they accept email copies.
My first cheque is due on 21 Apr (28 days after they say it was authorised).
If not received then I will email them on 22 April with LETTER BEFORE ACTION giving them 7 days to get it to me.
If nothing received (no delaying tactics accepted) by 29 April then Legal Action WILL be taken that day.
Simples.I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!0 -

Simples.
Wasting your time sending LBA unless you intend to go through with it.
Quote from their site
Once you have requested your cashback (and sent us your bill) we will first email you to confirm receipt of the bill, and again once your claim has been successfully approved. Approving a claim is usually completed within 7 days. Once approved we will process payment then send a final email when your cheque has been issued. Receipt of your cheque will take a maximum of 28 days from the date we issued your cheque. This allows time for secured printing and postage. Please note the cheque will be issued in the name of the account holder only.
The 28 days they refer to is from when they issue the cheque (which can be what they like but looks to be the 7 days plus 28 making it 35 days - add on 14 days to acknowledge receipt, you have something in region of 49 days to get your money?).0
