Fly into New York and out of Miami

Me and OH are desperatley wanting to be out of the country for New Year's 2011. I know it is the worst time to travel as all the prices are bumped up which is why we've never done it before, this year we're determined to.
looking at spending New Years in New York followed by a few days in Miami.
Have got this quote from Opodo........any thoughts are welcome? I think they are reasonable but nervous about booking so far in advance incase further sales on later in the year.
Would much prefer direct flights but struggling to find them?

Thank you, on a seperate note i've been looking at flying to FLL first then onto NY and going 25/26/27 and they are so much dearer than this one on opodo, still struggling to find direct flights too, maybe I should book them all seperately?

It'll be cheaper to have MAN-NYC and MIA-MAN on the same ticket than all one way tickets.
The Opodo price is pretty good, just suggesting possibilities to compare and consider. MAN airport website might have other information.

I just put MAN-NYC / MIA-MAN into Kayak who have come up with LOTS of results, starting at £440 per person. Fair choice of airlines too, and with only 1 stop each way! (this is using your dates too by the way).
