Dog castration advice please

First of all....well done for asking for advice bailey59!
Second...well done to all you experienced dog owners and resuers for giving good advice in a non judgmental manner.
Now, I am not a dog owner...but living in East London I see badly controlled or aggressively cowed staffies most days of the week. It breaks my heart as I have seen how wonderful these dogs can be.
Lat time I saw my vet, he was visibly upset as he had just had to euthanase two young healthy staffies. Usual story...poorly trained, un-neutered ( !! ) dogs that had apparently snapped at a child. No rescue centre would take them so the owners felt they had no other choice.
I guess I am just trying to add another vote to getting BOTH the dogs neutered, even if it is a bit of a stretch financially. Your pets are lucky enough to have a happy secure home with you...but you really cannot guarantee that their offspring would be so lucky.
( I say apparently as I note a post above where owner says a dog jumped over-enthusiastically at her son...not aggressively )0
