Dyson or Henry...?

Hi,

I have bought few vacuum cleaners in recent years and got to the point when I realized that I need one, but GOOD ONE to save money in long run as all these cheap hoovers last a year or two.
I have done my research and now I am torn between Dyson and Henry. They both have excellent reviews, the difference is really only the price which I am willing to pay for the better one. I need help to make a correct decision: should it be Henry Extra or Dyson ?
I want to buy in Argos as have some vouchers + Capital Bonds.
So these are the two which I cant decide between:

and

I have laminate flooring all around the house and few rugs.
Has someone experience with both of these makes?
Thanks a lot.

  • I've only ever used a very very old Henry (in an old job) - and I didn't think much of it (but it could have been its age).

At home, I got a Dyson at the end of last year after going through a couple of rubbish cheap ones, and it really is fantastic!!

What's the difference in the waranty's? Would this make a difference?

I believe Argos is on some of the cashback sites, so could save you another few pounds that way, buying whichever you decide.

if you only have laminate flooring then you don't need something with huge suction , go for the henry ,

We have Henrys at work and they must be about 20 years old and still going strong! As long as they're looked after they last forever.

Thanks so much, so it is 3:1 for Henry at the moment. I read reviews in Argos for both and they both seem to be great.

Neither, go for Miele:) Mine is at least 15 years old and still sucks like new. It's only ever had to have the bags changed. My floors are nearly all wood with a couple of carpeted areas.

Another vote for henry, mine is brilliant, dysons are too heavy for me.

He's almost human, sometimes i cant help when I'm dragging him along behind
saying to him 'come along Henry' silly I know but i cant help it.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
