Does the card type matter, anyone know?
I had the AADvantage then they changed that to the normal gold card - but is this the only account types, or all of them?

Mines a platinum card, I'm concerned that we'll have another rate hike soon, I dont know why they said to me that my limit had been decreased when it stayed the same, must be an admin thing but I'm nowhere near up to my limit spending wise.Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

never-in-doubt, what does DCA mean? From what I understand they just bought the lot from Citibank regardless of balance, history etc, I have visions of them hiking interest rates to the ridiculous APRs you see on the dodgy adverts on TV:eek:Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

I have the letter as well. My card used to be the AAdvantage gold, but is now just gold!
Have a 3000 limit which I took out with their 5.9% LOB offer about two years ago, not used the card at all other than the initial BT when I opened the account.
There is talk in the letter about a change to terms and conditions. Do you think they could either remove the 5.9%, or "do a capital one" propose a rate hike and force me to opt out and close the account?
Many of us Citi Gold holders will have high / very high credit ratings and so I'll be interested how a subprime provider like SAV treats us....0
