Looks clean tidy and clutter free, so theres not much u cud to improve. I think some fresh flowers would make a nice addition, in any areas u want to make look less plain, as though decluttering is a good idea it can sometimes make some rooms seem to bare.
Its good your adding bathroom photo, as if i look on rm and don't see a pic of either the kitchen or bathroom i presume they need redoing which is expensive.
    best of luck

Ex-council? Streetview shows much smarter properties being done up across the road. Will yours be left out and look scruffy? I would never buy a flat for a family outside London, but it may be different where you are.

Boo...my first bit of negative feedback! I don't see it as a flat, since we have a driveway, private entrance, private garden etc.

It does look like a council house, but it was never let to council tenants - it was an incoming worker's house. They are still occupied by some of those incoming workers who were are now in their 70s and 80s. There's not many of this type of house in the area at all, and tend to sell quickly due to the price when they come up. There's a semi in bad condition on for £145k and another in not great condition for £180k which is closer to where we live on just now http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-23974624.html , the first is sold. They are not too close, maybe about 1/2 a mile away, but within the same area (conservation area that we are just outside due to the age of the houses on our street - it was added 1920s/30s). The houses opposite us are 1930 terraces - sandstone sills etc but pebbledashed. They are small 3 bed but would go for much more, maybe £180k, so they probably don't appeal to people in the £120k budget. I see the positive of ours being the affordable house in the good area. I possibly would have considered buying across the street when we bought here, as we bought considerably under our budget at the time, however none were available as they are generally rarely available in our area as people tend to only sell when they go into a home or pass away. Everything on the market needs modernisation.

    Here are out price competitors

On one of the better coucil estates about 1/2 a mile away in the next town.

On a bit of land in a lower priced council estate in our town - but almost double the price of the local houses.

On a council estate, not a good one, but it's quite far along a quiet end of it, so maybe ok. I don't understand their price to be honest.

2 bed attic flat around the corner from us.

I feel we're in quite a good standing against these.
  • I like the addition of the bathroom pic, it looks lovely and clean and no need to do anything to it. It makes a big difference I think.
