Thoughts on my rightmove ad???

Needs a floorplan. I like floorplans. Other than that it tells me everything I'd like to know.0

I like a floorplan too. And room dims in metric as well as ft.ins. The ad is rather lacking in description. If it's a family home then what are the local schools (if they'r good)? Instead of saying "d/g" why not "double glazed throughout in woodgrain finish uPVC", etc.
"space for small table/chairs" - don't say small, and it looks like you could fit a 4-seat table in. Are those walk-in storage cupboards in the kitchen? Any appliances included? Etc.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
On the rightmove presentation, I think it is really good, if not excellent. The photos are among the best I have ever seen in terms of technical quality for rightmove. Nice focus, contrast, detail and exposure You can see what you would be getting.
The task is to get viewings and I think for people in the market for similar, it will be easy to decide whether or not to view. Slightly cynical about the streetview -it does work, but seems to start off facing the wrong way. The brochure hosted by vebra does not work - waste of space. If I was minded to view, I would want the brochure available as a pdf.
LittleMissAspie is right about floorplans. I like them tooHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Thanks for that so far, lots of input!
There will be floorplans, just not finished yet. Bathroom pic now added, but not yet fed through to rightmove.

I don't think the do metric around here, always seems to be in feet, so people will be comparing like for like on the schedules anyway. I personally agree though, why are folk still using feet!
As for the dining space. I can honestly say we have sat at the dining table twice this year (when we get messy indian takeaway!), and even less prior to that. Depends on a buyer's needs I suppose. For a couple or a 1 child family, definitely good to have the flexibility. We went to view a few 3 bed properties with no dining room, and where there were bedrooms upstairs you lose the flexibility.0 -
Looks good. Well presented for photos, and good quality photos.
If I was being really picky, I'd take the washing up liquid away from the kitchen photo, and try the dining room photo without the extra chair between the other furniture.
Question: your agent is a GSPC member, yet you don't appear to be on the GSPC site (yet). Deliberate policy, or just taking longer to get it to appear there rather than on Rightmove?0 -
Thanks for that. Washing up liquid is sort of hiding a pipe...
GSPC - 24 hours, it's not been on quite that long yet.
Where's the viewers? :rotfl:
Really pleased to hear everyone thinks the pics are good, I was really pleased with them too.0 -
Looks great.
Just needs a floorplan!Squish0 -
Many thanks everyone! Much appreciated. I guess the updates will show on rightmove in the morning. 'small' (referring to table) removed, bathroom photo added.0

Local schooling is good, it's quite obvious which schools are the catchment, so anyone local would know that. We did have our house on the market briefly just over a year ago (to buy another which fell though in the end), but one of the people who made us an offer did so specifically for their daughter's schooling. We are in an part of the country where new people don't really come to live so anyone should know the schooling situation anyway. Also, the schools are being re-organised so the future isn't totally definite.
Got the word small removed, thank you. Kitchen cupboards not walk in, just shelved storage, broom cupboard and boiler.
