Thoughts on my rightmove ad???

Our house has just gone on rightmove. Would love some feedback, does it look ok? I'm going to ask them to put the home report valuation on the ad too - to show we've got it on at £2k under valuation. (Scotland).

  • Looks good to me, nice and clean and tidy, it has all the photos you need bar 1 though, the bathroom (I like to see what bathrooms look like in case its horrendous and needs ripping out or is fabulous and sells it to me!)

I'd also query the fact its a true 3 bed property and probably market it as a 2 to 3 bed property as if all 3 double bedrooms were occupied then where would 6 people be able to sit down and eat as I dont think the kitchen or living room would be big enough to accomodate 6 sitting down for a meal comfortably.

    Just my thoughts though!

    Its a lovely property.

Thanks for that. The bathroom is quite plain, but modern. White suite, white & silver lino, white tiles with silver accent etc. Don't know why they didn't add the photo. I will ask though, thanks.

Don't really want to downsize the house, I think it's clear it's one bedroom as a dining room, so if someone needs a dining room too, then they could discount it right away - and also expect to pay more :p

Thanks for your input. Glad it looks clean and tidy:j

Looks great in the photos and I disagree that it should be shown as 2/3 bedroom. You have a small table in the kitchen that could seat 4 so i think its fine. people can decide themselves how they wish to use the property. The details already say the 3rd bed is currently used as a dining room

Is the loft "convertible" subject to planning etc? May be worth mentioning in ad if it is big enough?

    Good luck

I'd agree with Welsh Totster... There is a clear lack of dining space. The table in the kitchen clearly only seats 2. The fact that you are using the 3rd bedroom as a dining room only highlights this as an issue.
I love giving home made gifts, which one of my children would you like? :D :A :D

  • Oh it looks lovely, clean, tidy and clutter free. A lot of people don't need a dining room anyway so it's up to them what the third bedroom is used as

Looks good to me too, but I agree you need to show photo(s) of bathroom for complete picture!
