Can you help me please? I may let you into more at a later stage.
The dog is westie like in size but a dark brown with darker shades in it - do you have any ideas what breed this is - if so, do you have any photo's?

Could be a minature schnauzer? Although I think they're more grey/blackIt's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your window

Could be a cairn, the body shape is right but it was brown (mid brown I guess), with darker bits.jackieglasgow wrote: »Could be a Cairn Terrier, my gran had those, lovely wee dogs.

They come in a variety of shades though, Mt gran had one particular dog which was creamy beige under with brown sides and a black/brown back and tail. You know you are going to have to tell us why, don't you? It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your window

Had an incident, shall we call it, over park, I'm a bit shaken up putting it mildly. Neither dogs were at fault, neither had a fight, but I was threatened by the owner and it was scary and am now afraid to go over there alone.
Thought it would help if could identify the dog - may help to lead to the so called owner. The dog wasn't the problem.Genie

Have you tried googling 'terrier breeds'?
How about a Norfolk or Norwich terrier, or it could be a brindle crossbreed? Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!
