with a bit of simple hacking (as in editting), you can play mms and asx of ur own choiceKepla, as it appears to be mains-powered only, the Joggler may not be too useful for you on your travels...
Got to say, I was tempted at £50, but I suspect the reason they are being sold off so cheaply is because they suffer from flaws...all the reviews seem to say nice hardware, shame about the software.
EDIT: as an internet radio, does anyone know if it uses the reciva firmware, or are you limited to the advertised 100 pre-set "pure" stations? Can it play shoutcast streams?

I guess that if you already have a wireless network and internet at home, and need a digital photo frame and an internet radio, then it is a perfectly reasonable buy at fifty quid. If you don't need those then I guess it wouldn't be. There seem to be plenty of them for sale on e-bay at somewhat more than the fifty quid O2 now sell them for ! :eek:i may have to get one of these but i need to justify the 50 quid spendKepla0 -
Rumour is O2 will introduce a browser for these at some point as well. Hopefully they will concentrate on some decent apps and this could be a really useful piece of kit.

i know they can be sort of "hacked " does that mean you could add a browserReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0 -
I have to admit that I love stuff like this too - provided that it is truely useful.pulliptears wrote: »Rumour is O2 will introduce a browser for these at some point as well. Hopefully they will concentrate on some decent apps and this could be a really useful piece of kit.

I have had a look at on-line reviews of the joggler - such as that on 'Electric Pig' and a browser doesn't seem to be mentioned yet. I might try to pick one up cheaply on e-bay but, in my experience, the price of these kinds of gadgets tends to drop shortly before a newer version is brought out with all the features which were misssing from the original. Of course, sometimes the software for the newer device can be retro-fitted to the old device - as this is what happened when Nokia brought out the N810 and I updated my N800 with the same software.
I guess we'll have to wait and see, though of course the bargain price might then disappear. If I didn't already have two 7-inch photo frames then I would probably be buying one anyway and keeping my fingers crossed for a browser soon. :beer:Kepla0 -

the joggler is completely relying on Flash and it is really difficult to produce a flash-based browser, and it takes ages to make one from raw.
nope, a member on the HD forums has Safari running
