Bank of Scotland One Card, balance tranfer

I have the BOS One card which was interest free for 12 months, just got the dreaded bill through today that next months bill will have interest if not paid off.
Would rather not do this but have never been in this situation, is there time for me to get one of these balance transfers done and if so which ones will offer me more free time without any charges/fees.
Also are there any things to watch out for, any cons.
I see most take a 2% fee, some max £49 and so forth, are there any totally free ones out there
Thanks

There is a list of cards that do not charge a fee on:
http://www.stoozing.com/0fees.htm
However, it sounds like you have left it too late as you really need to apply at least a month before you need to pay off the old card.
I would also double check when your 0% actually finishes because it is quite common for it not to coincide with the payment due date. For example, if you have a bill dated 1st August your payment due date may be the 20th August but your 0% could run out any time between the 1st and the 20th so if you leave it to the 20th to pay you may still end up paying some interest next month.0 -
I've opened and closed about half a dozen credit cards in the last two years or so, and my last - Norwich & Peterborough Via (0% bal tfr for 6 months & NO FEE!!!) - was the quickest application processed by a long way.
If you do the application online, you MAY get your card inside a month. Worth a try.0 -

May be too late...so what would be best thing to do exactly, any ideas.
In that link, all are charging fees, is that correct?
Sorry not done this before as you can tell0 -

No. All cards down to and including Nationwide are fee-free.
When does the 0% deal run out?People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.0 -
Last month, I applied for the post office card (0% on balance transfers for six months, no balance transfer fee).
I made a telephone application (their website doesn't work with my browser) and was told my credit limit over the phone, so when the resulting paperwork arrived by post, I completed the optional balance transfer request and sent everything back by return.
The whole process, application and balance transfer, was completed in just under 14 days!People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.0 -

Just make sure you have the money ready to pay off the balance before the end of your current 0% deal in case the application does not go through quickly enough.
If you do not have enough time you could always pay of the balance and take out another 0% purchases card like Sainsburys[1] and start over.

Thanks for that, My statement date is 26th July but I have not recieved it that long ago, I posted for advice on the top sticky but no responce.
I have DD set up and on statement it says payment date of 21/08
Also notice the union card link has Bank of Scotland on it, take it thats not an option for transfer?
And the Egg one on top says 0 months free?0 -

Right.

It's important to find out exactly when your current 0% deal ends. This is not necessarily on your next payment due date. If it's unclear from the paperwork, I would strongly advise you to ring them up and ask. That way, you know exactly where you stand.

Based on my experience last month, I'd say the Post Office card is currently a good bet. Providing you apply over the phone, as I've suggested, it's very quick.
Very best

My statement reads....
Min payment required...............£78.36
To reach us by ......................21.08.06
Next months estimated interest £39.69
That help, still PO job over phone best?
ps tried to phone, they say no go systems down0 -
If your statement does not give the date on which your introductory 0% ends, why not phone up customer services and ask? The number to ring will be on the reverse of your statement.People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.0
