M&P - I have a mini 'I've lost my cheque book' stress every month! The only thing I've ever written cheques for is DS's preschool, even know it takes me a while to remember where it is and how the hell you fill them darn things in! Blonde? Me?.. Never!0

Having one of those days where i start housework and end up moving all the furniture around am knackered now0 -
Am trying to find some tissue or wrapping paper type stuff to wrap the products from the new website in...am stuck :-( Can't decide what to get. I've ordered some stickers with the logo on to seal package with which are turquoise blue on a white background. Was thinking blue tissue but not sure if it will match the stickers-or white, could be see through...or black...or silver....brain is hurting!!! Any ideas or suggestions?0

At a guess I would say blue if you can get an exact match, silver if not. See through is another whole marketing issue - do you want/is it necessaary for the items to be "seen" through the packaging? All depends on how they are presented, I suppose-on a mounting card, just loose etc etc. HTH!0 -

Hi Mabel.
It may be misunderstanding your product range, howeve is gift wrapping an optional extra? If not will your end customer expect it to arrive with you wrapped up? And could you not save both time and money (hence more profit) through not adding this little touch.
This may be the harsh business side of me coming through that if a penny can be cut and 15 minutes from product shipping time without jepudising the customer experience - then cut it.
Thanks

Hi Mrs M, sorry to hear you feeling so fed up at the moment. think most people on here have been through those low moments about moneymaking too.hope you come out the other side soon.
Interesting about squidoo driving traffic to your OH website. hadn't thought of it too much that way but would be cool to get more blog readers.
seems if you only have one lens and never update it you are unlikely to earn from it.but if youupdate it even by just adding a new useful link or 2 then it is seen as one that you update and improve and if you build several up over time then you are likely to earn from them.
I'm hoping to do a series of inter-related ones and hope it leads somewhere. I really enjoy writing my blog and hope to expand on the parenting philosophy side of things on squidoo as well as other areas.
MandP and MM you do seem to be having a few coincidences today.
NLID hope your back is a bit better today and that its a better day in other ways too.
We've just got back from the maritime museum where we had a ball!!

Hi Mys M-yep shes emailed me and said she was adding a link thanks-good luck with your new stuff you are making!! Hmmm dont think see through packaging on merkins is a good idea!
Thanks NLID, Gift wrapping is not an extra but think it fits in with the product range, I think customers will expect things to be nicely presented. Will only cost about 20/30p extra which i've accounted for in prices.
Going to have to be blue I think. will wait til I get the stickers and then will be abe to match things up better.0
