NLID - if you need/want any more help from just let me know, will willingly help with any PR for your SEO website. I echo what everyone else has said - just be yourself, people buy people, don't try and be a salesman - you aren't but you are an expert in your field and that is much more valuable. If you really are worrying about 'closing a deal' try and get a couple of closing questions in your head - I like something like, "I'm really excited about doing this, there is so much potential, so when do you want me to start?" I like this because really it is quite a natural statement, and if you mean it then your enthusiasm is infectious and they also become excited about what you are doing and the potential.....

Sorry been awol for a couple of days, trying to get my head clear....realising what I need to do/achieve and trying to start working out how to get there. Really need to start focusing on the PR work and stop playing at it, I am starting to get the hunger for earning (being able to take my children on holiday, clear the mortgage, save, and think about pensions) - now just need to find the confidence (and time!) to sell myself! (Yes NLID I know it is easier said than done).

I appreciate the offer - I dont know what to say or how to ask for help (Ask munchki about the page long confusing pm she had lol) If it is quicker/easier I am happy to throw the site together from the design Dilli is doing, putting the basic underlying SEO in there - as well as fix the email issue we have discussed.

Sounds great about the PR stuff.
was wondering about NLID (and now possibly you too)
we have some very successful local businesses where people have joined forces wioth different skills to offer a complete package.
would probably work best with people you can get together with geographically but may be worth a thought.
eg for Nixi maybe a collaboration with a graphic designer/ website builder and you providing good copy?
NLID would their be similar self employed people with skills that would complement yours where you could work collaboratively .
The ones near us have made a lot of their personalities and backgrounds and working ethos. a bit like the innocent smoothie branding. etc. It gives off a lot of confidence cos you can see how they've worked on their own site and PR and how good it looks.
could be very flexible as in meet clients together and have meetings together about projects but then do your actual part of the work at home?
    Just thoughts

I do like the idea of that - And I feel it would be great but to do that you have to meet people and suggest it around. After seeing what Dilli does all new design projects should earn her some towards her 10k lol

NLID – don’t forget ready to go on updating the SEO site. I have Mabel’s site to Finish, and I have Madam Nixi’s site to work on. But, if you have any ideas that you want to chuck at me to ponder in the meanwhile. More than happy to mate! And we can rejig your site whenever you want.

Hmm - If you want to save time on any of those sites let me know and I can throw them into websites from the designs you send across ;)

If you want to design the SEO Site - please let me know what you need and I will give the go ahead :th:

NLID sometimes we don't have to meet people in real life to start off with. no harm having a surf to see who is offering what locally in terms of the sorts of skills you could team up with and then having a look at their work and style. if anyone stand out to you could start to "talk" to them about maybe putting businees their way if you come accross any suitable clients and see how it goes.
eg "sometimes clients of mine also need people who can xyz. I've been looking rounfd for people/companies to recommend and liked the look of your work. I don't have any one needing your services right now but would you be happy for me to recommend you in the future? and do you have any info you could send me that I can show people."
    Just a thought.

MummyP - No hurry on the list, just didn't want to miss out :rotfl: Getting slowly organised in my head, and have realised that I really need to start earning money so the writing is going to have to go on the back burner...also had a read back through yesterday and as much as I like the idea I don't think I am executing it properly, so think I need to rethink!

Em - meant to say earlier, really sorry to hear about your ducks. Hope you are ok? hugs xx

Evenstar - they don't deserve you! Big Hugs xx

Dilli - Glad you are feeling a bit better now. Def. motivated, just need to keep going and focus!! You are doing so well with your blog, twitter, FB etc I am not sure you need me!!!!

NLID - thank you, will pm you!! Are you going to rework the SEO site or concentrate on the new ideas?

Hi Babymoo! Not sure I can help really but I know that most high street stores won't match online, only other stores within a certain radius. Not what you wanted to hear.......sorry

hey Wayne. Good to see you.
Good luck with the shirts. The only thing i have noticed is you say you have all sizes but you don't specify Ie are they small/medium/ large extra large or
womens size 10/12/14 etc or mens size 38cm/40cm etc
people probably need to know the sizing format you are using to let you know what they want.
It isn't till way into the checkout process that there is a box for additional information where people could actually tell you the size they want and even then you don't specifically ask for it.
Is there a way you could either add a box to select size actually on the item description or add each size as an additional item. so you see womens white T-shirt size 10 as one item and Mens size medium as another and kids age 3 as another.etc so all available sizes are shown.
There should be a way around it. would be worth it I think as this way feels a little bit unsettling as a shopper and I might just choose to go somewhere else where I could see the info clearly.
