Yep Nixi, you stole it from Jo, although I have been using it as my email sig for nearly a year lol. I really like it........I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -
Hi Munchki, not going to ask about the silence tonight. going to ask if you managed to get a fridge sorted out or whether you are going to go for the row of mini fridges. actually they would make quite a bit of noise. but maybe not the sort you're after.lol

-the wiggly dance conversation inspired me to put some loud music on and get the girls to do a mad bum-wiggle dance in the living room
...I have lost a pound, amazingly, as I wasn't great on the eating part this week but the digging seems to be workingI want a smallholding and some animals....:)
Have been looking vaguely into fostering, with no intention to make any moves til I'm driving and we've possibly moved.
Am debating whether or not to accept a 'best offer' on one of the phones I'm selling, chuffed cos the motorbike jacket's got a bid on already and am selling the MBTs at a loss just because we need to get out of the overdraft and ask for the loan, so anything's good atm...think we might need to do the complete finance overhaul, as we seem to be getting nowhere even though we're not actually buying anything apart from food and other essentials!
Jo, I love the thing you posted about your DS talking about Pokemon in his sleep! BlessDD2 walked onto the bus going home from school today all on her own (well I lifted her) and was babbling at top volume in complete joy to the bus driver! Awww lol xx
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0 -
Hi Jo, been a rather interesting evening to be fair....
As for the bits for the flat, well some interesting news. My supervisor/manager told me that her aunt was moving in with her parents and had a bunch of things that needed to be gotten rid of and she thought of me. she asked me if I wanted to go and have a look and see if there was anything that I could use. I went after work yesterday and in the end picked out a small fold down kitchen table that will fit nicely under my lounge window, a huge wardrobe, dressing table, chest of drawers, two side tables, a gas cooker and possibly a fridge(waiting to see if another relative collects it and if not it is mine as well) She is also going to see what she has for curtains, nets etc. She asked me to make an offer and so I told her all I really could afford was £200, was not sure what to think but she said she would let her parents know and let me know this morning. Well I am getting the lot and her and her hubby are going to deliver it to me for the grand total of £60! I was totally gobsmacked! Still waiting to find out about a fridge but wow, still in shock.
As for the rest of the day, well that has been interesting in itself! Now sat here and just started watching Pretty Woman, rather fitting with the rest of the interesting day!I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -
ooh left hanging of that cliff again Munchki -mistress of intrigue and suspense.grrr!!
really fantastic about the furniture though and how truly lovely that they didn't take the full amount you offered or even near it. really chuffed for you. there are some wonderful people in the world.
woohoo will be getting even more homely especially with a little table.
