2cats I read your post the other day and forgot to respond.
was wondering in what way the South Beach diet is heallthier than slimming world if you don't mind sharing.
I had a look at the slimming world stuff and their free 7 day menu and found it a bit difficult because I sort of have a thing about overprocessed food and am not comfy with reduced fat cheese or reconstituted packet foods which sometimes appeared in the recipes. I'd rather eat full fat cheese or such like but not have as many meals with it than go for reduced fat.. Its probably just some kind of blinkered prejudice but I have always believd that when companies reduce fat in stuff like crisps/ yoghurts etc they tend to add in other substances ti improve taste without being fattening. and that puts me off. not that I don't eat convenience foos but if I was to go with a diet programme I'd want one that inspired me to eat less processed foods and better ones rather than low fat processed versions of things. IYSWIM. was just interested to hear that you saw one as more healthy and wondered why.

Not that I am planning particularly on doing one but looking around for recipe inspiration for next months menu planning. been a bit frustrating the last week or 2 cos been using up what we have rather than buying in so not that easy to diet in the way I'd planned so this month want to be organised when we do our shopping.“Don’t ask what the world needs.
