Ye where she lived is called new fairfield and even though only just round the corner it is a world away from where I live in old fairfield. I used to live opposite the house and everyone gets harrassed around there, my car got smashed by a 9 year old, yes 9 years old. I complained to his mother, she laughed, patted his head n told me never to darken her doorstep again. Unsurprisingly shortly after i moved.

I am doing ok, its a huge shock and has been felt throughout the town n knowing the family has made it worse but on the grand scheme of things I have nothing to complain about. There is a local meeting tomorrow to discuss how to help the family and a chance for the residents of fairfield to question the police on how they missed something so vital an hour before and how 2 innocent children were allowed to die. Reading fiona's facebook is harrowing, i'm sure youve read it in the papers. :(
It must be awful living in a place where gangs of kids and teenagers hang about harrasing people
I belive you about kid of 9. seen the start of this here, not as bad as a lot of places but if left unchecked it will be
I carnt understand the mentality of some parents, my daughter is 10 and does not go out raking the streets, she goes to friends occasionally and they go for walks but when its dark shes in
She respects people and their property and doesnt swear even mild swearing, which is more than can be said for a lot round here
I would hate her to be involved in trouble
To many parents carnt be bothered or defend their kids no matter what
    Something needs done
I carnt belive police were there hour before the yobs just laugh at police and police to soft on them

morning evryone. kids still asleep but I couldn't get back off once DH got up for work. so now enjoying a cup of tea and sunshine through the window. lovely.
babymoo. prob not got much for the adults but may have a few baby things.
we have a local swapshop list here and it goes out on sundays so may be able to put it on there for clothes if still needed. usually get a good response. but you may have had a massive response locally by then.. I will check with you nearer the time.
as for our facebook page it was set up by Cally and I think she deleted it when she left the dribblers.
Em set up one too which was a private not public one. it has less members so far than the original public one but it might be worth reviving it as it does seem handy to have a common facebook place for us as we can post links etc there and blogs and stuff and things like babymoo saying about the memorial pages could have been posted.
I will find the link and post it here in red later.

    Morning.

Can't really help clothes wise I'm afraid, my LO is just getting into those sizes but I'm heading out into town later I'll see if I can pick up some vests, babygrows etc.

Going for a (free) lunch today (playing on the fact its my birthday tomorrow :rotfl:) and to buy some nice things with advantage points and my birthday cash.

On a high note - my credit cards are now CLEAR!!! Was going to wait until pay day to clear them but realised I had spare funds today :D. So as soon as the payment clears its bye bye MBNA and HBOS and hello nice 0% card.

    Morning all!
Hope all is well with everyone this morning.

Babymoo and Even – hugs to both of you. x

Even Joprah has given the best and most constructive advice as always. Just do the best that you can x

Nikki – well done on clearing the credit cards!!! I will be able to say the same at the end of the year as long as I stay focused on the challenge.

Mambury – where are you! I have my facebook group.

Cagne – PM for you about the ad

MoneyM – got your message but the file was at work, will send you a few more pics this morning

    NLID,
Big amount of sympathy and understanding on the closing the deal part. You just need to develop balls of steel and refuse to underprice yourself. I have had meetings where clients have winced in front of me about the price. But, I refuse to budge – and eventually people will accept it and pay your for it or go elsewhere which suits me fine as we can’t have every client. Anyhoo, we talked about it before – lets overhaul the design of the SEO site and focus on a relaunch. NLID you are too good at you job to cheapen the price, it is what it is, and don’t allow clients to make you feel bad over the price!

I have a mp3 that helped me, happy to send it across to you if you want. It is a hypnosis based, but it is helpful and

Also, don’t feel bad about outsourcing, if you can’t do it yourself, you can’t do it. There is a reason why other people exist! No man is an Island and all that jazz. Also, if you find people to outsource to who are trustworthy – it takes a weight of your mind. As you will slowly drive yourself crazy trying to control every single aspect of your business.
Already hhhonlyfan, Munchki, and me are all lined up to heop!

It also might be worth having a look at a book by Tim Ferris called the four hour work week. It got me to realise that you can have a work life balance that enables you to have the life that you want. His blog is pretty good too. I don’t agree with all aspects of his book, but there is a lot of good stuff mixed in with some things which I found a wee bit dubious tbh. But, the message of the book overall is good.

As for me got some blog updates to do, and have to contact some other bloggers about backlinking so I am tweaking my email to each one of them this morning, and then back to the ready made range and the lovely MoneyM site.

Back in a while and hugs to all those who need them

Accidental money making! Love it! DD loves her bedroom, she spent all day yesterday playing in it and slept like a log last night, so wasn't that bad having the slide, think she wore off the novelty by the time bedtime came around and its not that high either, it is only something like 4 foot off the floor.

I can do the ladies and the baby stuff, although it will all be white as my 2 are girls, I have too much anyway, can you PM me where to sent it, also, is there anything else that is needed other than clothes? I can put in some toys, coats anything?

Even - what can I say? Kids, huh? huge hugs and, as my mum says, where teenagers are concerned, you can't do right for doing wrong. Hopefully, as they grow up, they will learn to appreciate all you have done for them.

Mabel - will PM you when I get back, not forgotten, you are on my to do list, OH gave me a funny look when he saw:
