    ohh Em! that is terrible! Any chance they might wander back and maybe just hiding near by? I have never had ducks before so dont know how they work. What a lousy thing to come home to *huge hugs*

    oh Em I'm so sorry to hear about your ducks that's awful hun, has the neighbour looked for them at all? Sorry I have no idea if the ducks could fly or if they've been clipped ( there endeth my vast bird knowledge :-/)
    big hugs for you hun, it doesn't matter if they are ducks or stick insects they are your pets and you are entitled to be upset, rant/offload/ cry all you want.

    Hey all....

    Munchki - I think you are doing the right thing by getting rid of the car. It will be the last thing ex has a hold over you (emotionally) wiht. You still have your licence, and the next car you have will be yours and yours alone. Oh, did I say 'you' are giving up the car, not EX taking it off you.....

    Evenstar - big hugs... I don't know what to suggest other than be there for your DD. I know you don't like the bloke involved (and from what you have said I don't blame you) but I would suggest (if you feel up to it) letting your daughter know that you are there for her when she needs you. She will, in time, realise what has been going on. If there is anything I can do.....

    Jo - hows the head??? you off to the docs this week???

    Thank you :( we won't get them back, they don't fly. It would've been a fox :( They were really happy last week as we bought them a new pool. I feel really guilty and stupid for letting the neighbour sort it. I know he'll feel awful too. Thanks for your kind comments - i'm going to catch up with the thread and go to bed. Hope you're all well (Munchki - i hope you got my facebook msg about the party - sorry i couldn't make it :()

    Em, it wasn't a stupid thing to do. normally when we put our trust in people it works out. this didn't but it wasn't a stupid thing to do. I'm amazed that you can already be feeling empathy for him. It came into my head that he must feel awful but they are not my pets, it shows what a lovely person you are to be thinking of him too.
    we missed you at the party and on the thread but you shouldn't feel under pressure to post.
