not me Mabel and Munchki.... totally agnostic here.....
I believe that everyone is entitled to their own faith however that may show itself. I do have a big problem with organised religions as a whole, eg Church of England, Islam, Catholic Church, not their followers but people who believe themselves better / more holy than others and thing they have the 'god given' right to dictate to others how they should feel/believe/act/live.
There we go.
Nuff said!
BTW, Paganism.... does that involve merkins?! *snigger* (in the nicest way of course!)sealed pot challange #572!Garden fund - £0!!:D£0/£10k0 -

'fraid not here.... brought up in Ireland, bloomin' nuns put me off religion for life.
There is one more thing that really bugs me is religion tied to education. I think France has it right, religion is a personal preference not a national identity.
Might just move to france anyway and be done with it!sealed pot challange #572!Garden fund - £0!!:D£0/£10k0 -
I'm Catholic but stopped going when my local priest refused to marry me and OH because shock horror he has not even been baptised even although he was willing to do so. two faced c***. A bit later another one was discovered having an affair with a divorcee for years and the one who refused to marry me knew and helped cover it up.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000

I agree with you mambury, which is why I state I have my own set of beliefs and they are mine alone.. they are more a set of values that I believe in and try very hard to live by.
I also know what you mean about nuns putting you off religion for good! I hated catholic school with a passion and fought my parents on it until they let me go to a normal school. lol ohhhhhh and when I was 7 I asked a priest a rather innocent question and one i thought he could answer lol...I asked him if god made everything etc then who made god..........his answer was .......I think perhaps you should ask your mother that question. I will never forget it and I think that was the start of my search for myself then. Now I just try and live my life right, dont always get it right but I do try!!I am somebody. I am me.
