I'm lurking, but busy doing admin, stuffing gazillions of envelopes (300 down, 500 to go!) etc.
  • Wow, what are you sending again?
I used to envelope stuff as a part time job...nightmare!

It's direct mailings to potential customers of the main business. Because I'm looking for parents of small children I buy lists of names and mail ones that look like prospects and are in areas where I've got room for new customers. I do it 3 times a year and anything up to 1500 names at a time, so this is quite a small one! I get a response rate of about 5%, so it should generate 40ish new customers.

It's active physical play/gym classes for 6 months - 7 years, but I'm only in my immediate area. There are classes all over but it's only me running them hereabouts. Considering a new venture that would take classes into nurseries/preschools as well. Which is why the arty stuff takes a back seat cos I'm so blooming busy doing the main stuff!
  • Oh wow...I'd love to do that.
I wanted to open a nursery before I turned 20...not gonna happen now though, lol.

I love your art...are you still selling on Folksy?
