why complain that house prices are really really high, why not complain that you wage is really really low?
your thoughts?

Concise, to the point, and very true.
Like it.:D“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

exactly... prices are currently at the level when most can't afford - imagine what would happen if suddenly more could afford!0 -
Euphoria1z wrote: »absolutely not. but yet more people complain about high property prices as opposed to the rest in your list?
Because they cost more?
As Dr G says, it's hardly difficult to figure out.
What would you complain about more - the thing that costs you hundreds of pounds more every month or the thing that's gone up by 20p?
Both annoying - guess which one raises the most ire?0 -

Or........

One of many unsung internet heroes who are almost entirely misunderstood. Contrary to popular belief, many trolls are actually quite intelligent. Their habitual attacks on forums is usually a result of their awareness of the pretentiousness and excessive self-importance of many forum enthusiasts. i dont think the price i paid for my flat is that high, for the area and type of property its an ok price.
I do however complain (to myself) that my wage is really low and due to this, everything seems expensive.
your thoughts?
People complain that house prices in the UK are too high for the same reason that they complain that petrol prices are too high: they'd rather pay less.0 -
it still comes down to what you earn tho doesnt it? so why cant "WE" accept this? but no, its houses are too expensive, petrols too expensive as opposed to "my wage is rubbish"0

Excuse my ignorance, but what is trolling?

Not you again, had enough with the NS&I certs

The thing is, how many people do you hear from who arent particularly perturbed about high house prices? It's the same with everything else, you only hear from the ones who moan. How big as a percentage of the population are the ones who moan? It might be miniscule, i.e most people can find away to buy a suitable house for the money they have, somewhere.0

Houses are expensive in the UK compared with most of the rest of the world, so is petrol.
Pretty much everyone I've ever met wishes the earned more.
I don't think your post adds anything to the board. I can't make you stop posting but I can put you on ignore.

The only reason house prices are high is because people still buy them. If people did'nt buy houses (and remember you don't have to buy!) at this high price then they would come down, so indirectly all those who have bought houses recently have rubber stamped these prices as being acceptable.0
