Crystal clear, Weezl, don't worry :) I can't play cos I'm working, and I've no idea when I'll have a chance (busy busy weekend ahead, plus I feel truly awful). I expect that most people have some version of this reason holding them back (although hopefully not the feeling awful part !).

Oh Allegra I hope you feel better soonxxxxxx

  • Not sure what to do with everything but I found a recipe that might be adapted for a dinner.

    Vegan spanish omlette

    Grind chickpeas into flour.

Mix the flour with milk (or water I think would be fine if we can't use the milk), tomatoes, salt, chilli and garlic powder.

Blitz in a blender to create your 'egg' mixture.

Pour over chopped potatoes (and maybe defrosted spinach) and mix well.

Pour into a hot frying pan.

Cut into wedges and serve with tortillas.

    Adapted from here http://www.ivu.org/recipes/european/vegan-tortilla.html

Not very good at visualising quantities, sorry, and am not at home so can only visualise!

Maybe some sort of Welshcake derivative for breakfast with flour, rasins, oil and water.

Liver and lentil pate on toast for lunch

Peanut and Chickpea "Thai Style" toasts (oil, peanuts, chickpeas and sesoning spread onto slices of bread - drizzled with oil an baked until crisp) Served with chilli dipping sauce (chili, tomatoes, puree vinegar combo).

Some kind of Dahl and Saag dishes, but using chilli rather than Garam Masla servied with rice (potatoes, spinach, rest of tomatoes)

Errm not sure what to do with the cheese and I am sure something else has been missed :o
