Morning guys
I'm off to work in a min, I dont want to go as it looks so lovely outside. The buddy system is an interesting idea, I am just not sure how it would work in practice. Looking forward to coming back at 6 and finding out.:D

message for Gill for wall via Aless:
H Gill, thanks for your feedback, we've made some preliminary changes to our wording on both the nutrition and nutrition FAQs pages this morning, to make it clearer as we have taken your point on board. We have a new nutrition FAQs page ready to be rolled out with our new vegan planner, and will certainly be mindful of your feedback when planning that.
Do have a look at the new interrim wording, which we hope you'll feel is clearer.
Our team of volunteers are always keen to receive help from interested people, so if you have an interest in nutrition, we'd love to have your involvement in the future shaping of our site.
All the best, CFR etc

*zippy* just thinking technicalities-wise, would facebook be a good environment for newbies?
Are you feeling you can't ask us on here for help too?
Thanks for your thoughts about welsh medium schools. We are in a reverse situation, as it's our local english schools that are failing, with 8000 primary school places vacant in my area in english school.
Basically where I live, if you're somali or polish you go to english school and if you're english or welsh you go to welsh school. Dilemmas of a parent eh?

My two are 14 and 18 Weezl so i'm sure primarys have changed alot here too, i'm not too far from you. Mine go to one of the better comps in the area and I was talking to a friend yesterday that some of the things that go on there is shocking, goodness knows what the bad ones are like  Shes actually considering boarding schools.
As to a buddy, I keep having crisis of confidence.... do I have time, how can I make it easier, how are others working full time doing their batch cooking etc. I don't think I would want one to one particulary as I would worry about bothering them all the time. Maybe once the website is finished we could have a new chat thread on here, just people doing it and sharing how they are getting on and encouraging each other? I feel you are all up to your ears in trying to sort the website atm and I don't want to keep bothering with little questions, I can cook and feel I just need to chat about it and share advice, but if you had someone who lived on ready meals they may need basic cooking support too. Hope that makes sense0 -

Sorry, don't know how to link to the post that I wanted to reply to.
With regard to portion sizes, personally i find it easier to use a slightly smaller plate than my OH. That way, visually it looks as though I still have a decent serving as the eye deceives the brain.

Please do not feel that you are bothering us if you need to ask a question, no matter how small you feel they are. I'm certainly happy to answer any questions if I'm about, and I'm sure many others feel the same - and there's usually someone hanging about on here.0
