your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to make the following go as far as you can :rotfl:

you can do a half batch if you like :)

    Mr Frankie's soup :D

    800g onions
    400g potatoes (washed not peeled)
    1 stock cube
    garlic, s and p
    chilli/garam if you fancy!
60g bacon cut into titchy pieces and fried with the onion :)

Problems I have encountered so far (problems is probably the wrong word but I couldn't think of another one)

    DD3(11)
Don't put peanut butter on my sandwich, I don't like it

    DD1(16)
We don't get to choose our breakfast and lunch? I thought it was just evening meals.

I'm wondering if the toast toppers/sandwich fillers can be used as and when? Maybe the breakfasts as well, depending on who prefers what.
I don't want to mess you up weezl so if you'd rather I said 'you'll eat what you given or starve' I'm happy to go down that route ;)

I'm also thinking that I'm going to need to do batch cooking on another day as well, cause there is quite alot to do.

What do those of you who work outside of the house do now for you baking/batch cooking?

No Weezl-I am eating the porridge!!!

I dislike most breakfast foods apart from the unhealthy ones which means I eat rubbish in the morning and I'm never full till lunchtime. Therefore I think I need to 'get over' this dislike, its much healthier for me and I cant go through life not eating stuff in the morning.

Lol its a personal challenge at the mo:o

    Im weird I know:rotfl:

    ok, just my thoughts:

DD3, would you try a little mouthful on some toast and then decide, because this one is made with quite different stuff to normal peanut butter? Do you like oranges? And would an orangy morning toast topper work? ;D thank you for trying our food :)

DD1- Hi :) It's fine with me for people to eat things in whichever order they fancy, the only thing is that some people will think the plan is less healthy then cos all the right vitamins and minerals might not be in your food every day, does that make sense?

frankie, I agree about the batch cooking, even with a family of 4, and you've got 6!!!!

When I was full-time, batch cooking was a weekend activity. Get to asda at 8.30, do shop, spend a happy kitchen day. Watch a film in the evening, let dishwasher take the strain ;):o

weezl My loaves are all done bar the baking. I'll be putting them in the oven once my carrot cake is done, so please feel free to have your nap when you need it.
I'll post to let you know how they turn out.

Has anyone made the savoury bites?

I was wondering the chickpeas need to be crushed and if the lard needs to be melted?
