I prefer it but I suppose it is a matter of personal taste. What do you think?

Goodness Fergie and Kester will be able to code before they can talk watching you do it all:D

All over bar the shouting :) That's to say, the washing up. I'll go and have a coffee now and then get back to catch up on the thread and report back on the batch cooking.

Helen just out of interest do you normally cook from scratch? Just me being nosy!!

I don't mind you being nosy, I like to know about people as well. I have three DDs (20,17 & 15) & the youngest DD has just had a baby . Priority at the mo is to support her through her exams (I was actually chopping apples with one hand whilst holding GS with the other).

I do mainly cook from scratch, Shepherds Pie, Lasagne, Tortilla, Toad in the Hole, normal family stuff. However I only batch cook cakes & biscuits, apart from that if I want to cook I do & if I don't have time it is either leftovers ie made double Shepherds or jacket potato.

Helen-your introduction is very helpful to more inexperienced cooks, I think an emphasis on how it will help save time throughout the month is important or else people may not bother to do it and I feel you have put that across nicely.

Its good you bread came out nicely *dont be jealous arty, dont be jealous arty*

    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

No need to be jealous, I can do bread, I can't do mayo. :)
    Glad you liked the intro.
