    This also may be my fault I have a bad history with failing to make real mayonnaise which ended in one bowl being thrown on the floor in disgust.

    NB Grand gestures like that never pay as I then had to get down on the floor and clean it up.

    ok oven temperatures and kit required are now done on all relevant recipes I think.

    Helen, I've added in ingredients to melt the lard. What shall I add to the mayo recipe?

    Which are the recipes which require water putting in the ingredients list please :)
