Children helped with lists today, and must admit that the 'do something for yourself' will be done tomorrow, not today but is organised because DH and I are going to Windsor without the children tomorrow and seeing the castle (and most excitingly the Henry VIII exhibition - Tudorphile me, big time) on Saturday as a birthday surprise/treat from DH :D:D:D:D:D. Got to collect Mum from train at 2.30pm today as a babysitter and she asked for an open return ticket  I need to know when she is leaving!!! Off to town now to collect Wilk*s direct order and then for shopping to A*di before she arrives, will buy children hideous takeaway food in town which they seem to relish as a treat confused-smiley-17418.gif

Have hoovered kitchen floor and bedroom. Saw that clear floordrobe was on yesterdays list, but I don't have one to clear :D

Have a bit of a quandrary though. Our shredder has packed up and I really need one as still have bags of paperwork to go through. I have two questions:
    1. Does anyone know where I can get a new one for no money or nearly no money?
    2. What should I do with the old one? The basket bit will be used as a magazine rack for DH's golf magazines that he keeps in the bathroom, but what do I do with the top bit?
