Hi all.
Picked up my list a bit earlier, and some has been done (some of it courtesy of Mr LW over the weekend, it has to be said:A:D), but I didn't want to post til I'd at least semi-skimmed the Fred iyswim.
Firstly, posi-vibes to Sandy, LadyL, Diva, Dusty's DS and anyone else who is not up to par today..... heck, I'll just leave a pile of them here, come and grab some, OK?:D
I took Pip and Pandora out for a trundle with the mobility scooter as soon as Mr LW had left for w*rk (bless him, he got the scooter out and parked it by the front door for me:A) and boy, was I tired when we got back! I'm afraid I flaked out on the sofa for a couple of hours.... it's so damned inconvenient having a flare when I have dogs staying.
Anyway, Pip laid herself down beside the sofa and Pandora climbed up and laid on me, so they were happy!:D Pip has to have medication in the mornings, but she's very good about taking it (thankfully!) and her owners sent some ham to use to disguise it for her. Pandora has a little ham as well, so as not to feel left out.:D
I'll try and get the levels done today. Will be using white vinegar for glassware, although I still have some "proper" glass cleaner to use, as it won't smell as strong to little canine noses. I don't in all honesty see me doing the extras, though.:(
I also have to make a quiche for tonight's dins - it'll do for tomorrow as well. I'm doing "easy" meals while I have the woofers here, to minimise hassle.:D
Right, I must try and find some "spoons" from somewhere, and get moving.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Helen - there are some right scum around.
DS3 has hit sadness and regret now. Fortunately his little friend has just popped around so that will give me 30 minutes peace.
Managed to do an online whop with 15% off for tomorrow to save going out.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Afternoon all
I haven't been around for a few weeks due to my visit to see Stranglers gig in Paris and starting the new job last week - and winning tickets to the Ice Hockey play off finals this weekend gone so i'm posting to apologise for not flying at all in the last 2 weeks and to say i'm back on it this week.
DH has DSS this evening so I will be concentrating on the LR. We have been decorating over the past week or so also - 2 floors of stairs the landing and the hallway and also painting the back porch so lots of mess everywhere whilst areas are finished. Just one more coat of paint in the porch and just one wall to paper in the hallway before we can paint and buy a new carpet.
I am sorry to read news about Sandy - I kept popping in a few weeks ago when she saw the neurologist (I think?) and haven't seen since then so will try to catch up - sending massive hugs your way though x
Enjoy the ice skating pigpen - I miss going, I used to skate every week.
Helen, good on you for reporting the thief I hope they get caught
Thinking of Diva and the op (must catch up with previous threads)
Natty, hope all is ok re the lump, I used to get them a lot in my armpit, used to be cysts and boils so I will be sending vibes over that it is all ok
Rosepink - hope your feeling ok after the weekend - nice of them to help you and get you to fresh air!
Dustykitten, hope DS3 is ok and not in too much pain, I was accident prone as a child and broke lots of bones so I totally can relate to him being in pain poor thing - also a question re the strawberries, how many plants did you start off with and how many on average strawbs do you get from them? I have been growing things for a few years now and have bought 6 strawberry plants this year as never had them before and am intreagued to know how many strawbs I will get as I love em!
Apols to anyone i've missed - nice to be back
nuttyIt's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice0 -

Everyone feed and demanding more chocolate. I've blackmailed them into helping me with the front hall and then they can have some.
((bad mummy)):rotfl:
Rhys is in the process of clearing all small tables so he can come help too.
Back later...Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Just two things left on the washing line now, the rest is dry, folded and put away.
Dinner eaten and all cleared away.
Grass cut back and front, edged and swept up.
Going to watch Neighbours when it finishes taping, I think I've earned a sitdown.0
